Especially from one of the myopic few, which leaves the question, who signed this "gash" player ???

Doesn't really matter where he was, it's not like it would've made a difference, unless he could be used as a 12th player

Gash? ;D he's played about 70 minutes for the club after being out for a year with a broken foot, yet still managed to win us a penalty, have more shots at goal than the rest of the team in those two matches and look much brighter and sharper than any of our other wingers! FFS give him a bloody chance! Could have done with his pace off the bench today when ethers started flagging in the second half.

I'm not sure if AlanHansen is trying to 'troll' is by pretending he's thick or just acting like it
How you can judge a player, who hasn't played in 6 months, and has started in a new(and miles better league) on around 60mins of play I'll never know.

"The outsiders" Pennant (RM) Palacios Adam Shea (LM) Arguably a better midfield 4 than TP plays

Saw him against Fulham and he didn't remotely look like a footballer. One things for sure, he's not a "Stoke" player.
If you don't agree, that's your choice.

If you don't agree, that's your choice. but you have to keep in mind that he's in a completely new league, with a completely new team and not yet back to full fitness after coming back from a bad injury. He's got hight, he's got pace and he's still very young. Surely you cant make judgement From fulham away.

Why would you only judge Shea on the Fulham match? After 4 months off and coming off surgery? Yet, Shea looked better the 2nd half from the first and won the PK. Following weekend when he came on he looked much better than the Fulham match. Then........nothing.
What I don't get is the wingers now aren't offering anything, won't really improve. Shea has improved every time he's stepped on, and still will get considerably better as he gets to where he was. But that happens by playing.
The idea Shea isn't good enough is ridiculous. He's a better player than Cameron. He only looked about 70% and still made an impact. The problem is TP has such negative tactics he finds no use for an attack minded winger. Other problem is people who've never watched Shea thinking 70% off injury is as good as he is. If he gets to 85% he's your best winger hands down. Given how much improvement he made from Fulham to the next there's reason to believe he'd keep improving.
But watching the other wingers offer nothing while Stoke doesn't threaten and thinking Shea isn't good enough and the Fulham match is all he is is pretty shallow. Shea can get better just off fitness and timing, learning his mates. What's the excuse for the other wingers who know the league? Why aren't they offering more?

Anyone who has 15 USA caps must be a better winger than Kightly, Walters or Shotton

BTW, this reminds me of when Michael Bradley went to Aston Villa and sat. Supporters thought he just wasn't good enough. Next year went to Chievo and was their best player, then bought by Roma and is a regular starter for them. So regular starter for Roma yet not good enough for Villa.
Sometimes the manager is just an idiot and plays favorites.
Edu btw is playing great in Turkey, for a club who's better than Stoke right now. Idea he wasn't good enough for the Stoke mid field is wrong as well.

Shea and Geoff Cameron were both late coming in today with Cameron sprinting past the fans outside the gate shouting expletives about the M6 (welcome to England Geoff. No fancy free-ways here!).
One thing i'll say about Shea is the poster above who says he isn't a Stoke City player couldn't be further from the truth.
The youth is an absolute unit. I've met and shook the hand of Sir Robert Huth and I can tell you this guy absolutely dwarfs him!
He's fooking huge!

Did nobody else on here go to Fulham besides AlanHansen?
I was there and thoroughly agree with him. It wasn't just a case of fitness. The poor lad didn't know what he was supposed to be doing. And if anyone thinks he "won" the penalty through skill, they are fooling themselves. It was a fluke.
