We were discussing this at work yesterday, at such a negative time for stoke it was so hard to pick someone and i shocked my self thinking this but on recent form it's hard to see past shotton
What are people's thoughts? And picks?

Begovic? Pulled off some quality saves Nzonzi - very good most of the season, tailing off a bit now

Has to be Nzonzi for me, but Shotton certainly deserves credit for a good season, espcially given the stick he gets on a fairly regular basis.
Too many players have had poor seasons really.

Despite his iffy patch it still has to be NZonzi for me.
24 year old man Ryan Shotton will win the laughably named 'young player of the season' award
Managements player of the season award otherwise known as ''good egg who is asked to play here, there and everywhere award and works arrrdd award'' will go to Geoff Cameron

Don't think Nzonzi has done it enough since Christmas all things considered.
Begovic the only option for me. We'd be in the shit big time if it wasn't for him.

Again got to be Begovic for me. Huth was a possibility but I think he's let us down badly at this stage of the season with a very silly red card

Shawcross was outstanding before Christmas, his form has dipped after that but so has everyone else. Must be in the mix?

I think it'd have to be Bego, by default, at the moment.
N'Zonzi looked a cut above until Christmas and is mega-talented. But I've been disappointed with the chinks in his armour we've seen through our bad run.

Shotton hasn't started enough games to be player of the year.
It has to be Begovic for me.

Bego or Nzonzi. Have suprised myself by how much better I think Shotto has improved. Hopefully he will now be regarded as a defender and not messed about.
