1: Would you renew if TP kept us up then left.
2: Would you renew if we got relegated and TP left?
Not having a go at anyone just curious.

The moment TP is no longer on the payroll is the day we'll renew at whatever cost. It breaks my heart, We support the club but I'm denying my family a decent holiday every year to fund £1000 of ST's. My kids loved it once, one of them the Championship and away games....she got bored around 2010 and little un thinks it's a punishment now. Daren't tell her it's a home game until 10 minutes before we leave the house! 2 years ago, at the age of 4 she couldn't even spell but could tell you every single players' name and number on sight. You lose the next generation of support.....you lose the supporters

Would you be happy if Pulis kept us up then resigned and we ended up with Steve Keane/Owen Coyle in charge? Would you renew if we were relegated and we ended up with Steve Keane/Owen Coyle in charge? BTW I have renewed unconditionally as I always have. Gouranga.

Without doubt same as most 'supporters' would.
Ask the guy who was asking if he would get a refund if we went down on here the other day the same question!! Like it or not along with all the money the premier league brings sadly the glory hunters come with it.. Hence the OTT threads on here after we lose a game.

Makes no odds if pulis stays or goes I will be renewing tomorrow. For me the footie is more than just a game it is the whole day. I enjoy the drink before the game and even if I drive and dunna have a beer I just enjoy being at the game. Just my thoughts on it but everyone is different and have different circumstances. While I can afford it and can get there I will always renew.

The kids were a bit unsure but as Stoke fans we decided to give it another bash and see if the 'evolution' showed itself. It didn't, the kids are bored shitless, restless most of the game and spoils a decent weekend for the most part. For that reason we're out, i'm afraid. Like i said, it breaks my heart, i feel like i'm deserting on my SCFC family but my love for the club can't be dispersed on my kids and it's boring for me, they must really hate it now.....that saddens me more than the fact that i won't be there next season. My Dad took me, i hoped i'd be taking my kids too and i did for a good while, including the baby (now almost 7 and big un is 17). Hearing them say they're bored makes me want to twat Pulis straight in the face!

I don't care what league we play in I never have.
The Premier League is vastly overrated.
As long as I don't have to watch another season of Tony's idea of football then I'm all good.

I was there around 2.15pm to renew, couldn't believe how quiet it was. Only 1 other bloke there renewing, ticket office staff looked bored to death. Must admit I expected an awful lot more people there.

It's not about winning or losing the game; it's the WAY we win or lose it! If you mean that you can accept defeats if we have set up to try to win games then I totally agree. However, taking that to the extreme would be akin to Baggies fans who we always laughed at when they said they would rather be relegated than play like us. There does come a time when you need to just get a result. That doesn't excuse what we've mainly seen over the last 18 months though Edit: returning to the OP, Yes to both (and already have)

If we go down wouldn't the price of a season ticket be reduced?
Logically, wouldn't it be best wait and see what happens before renewing?

Perfectly reasonable, if slightly loaded questions.
I am in a position where the financial aspect isn't that heavy a burden, though I absolutely empathise with those who have a couple of kids. If it breaks down to ST's or the family holiday, it's a fairly easy decision to make.
I drive up from the West Midlands (on my own now), watch the game (on my own) and drive back, frequently in a foul mood. Time was I would be at the Gardners no later than 1, no I park on the back streets about twenty to 3. I sit there, apathetic to a quality i football I can neither condone nor rationalise then I go home.
I don't boo, I'm 36 and cannot really see the point. What I can choose to do however is spend my Saturdays elsewhere, somewhere that doesn't piss me off or leave me in a bad mood for the rest of the weekend. Going to Stoke these days is a bit like going to the Merry Hill Centre for me; I don't enjoy it when I am there, but generally I am allowed a pint afterwards as a treat.
I don't rerally care what league we are in, never have. I would however really like to see ateam that likes to attack and score goals and begin a game of football with the intention of winning it. I cannot account the time anymore to doing something from which I derive no pleasure whatsoever.

You seem very sure considering you have no idea. Maybe they'll want to keep attendances high rather than them dropping back to 12-14K, in which case I expect the price would have to drop a bit.

YOU may hold that view fair enough but blaming your kids?????? i'd be stunned if you showed me any 6 year old that would know enough about the game to be holding points of view like that
