It's amazing how the form of certain players can improve dramatically when contract time is approaching, then that form disappears again when it's been signed. A bit like Shawcross

A bit like Shawcross You can't say a bad thing about Shawcross he's the finest defender the world has ever seen and doesn't have some glaringly obvious faults. Leave God alone.

Ryan Shawcross is a damn good defender! Of course he makes mistakes as all defenders do, but he is a very reliable player! Not the most technical one, but not as bad as some people would say either.

Let downs
Robert Huth for getting all unnecessarily Teutonic at a pivotal point in our season.
Kenwynne Jones, of his appearances prior to his xmas shop window stint my abiding feeling is of frustration...too many instances of hands on hips, hands aloft, shrugging at team mates, boots on the wrong feet, looking lost/marking opposition defenders, not finding space, muscled off the ball, not jumping for headers, squandering chances, disinterested. He's a let down because he's obviously better than that and hope he gets the opportunity to redeem himself.
