TP: We are either shooting ourselves in the foot, or things just aren't dropping for us at the moment!
TP: Even Alan admitted last week that Newcastle were fortunate
TP: We are eleventh in the Premier League at the moment, and we are looking to push on and pick up more points.
TP: If you win games people are happy, if you lose, people are upset. That's football
TP: We are in a results determined business, and if we don't get results, then you get criticised. I accept that
TP: What we need more than anything is a couple of breaks

Now then mate...
His inability to grasp the fact that it's not results that are the problem is staggering and I'm sick of him harping on about luck. If you're positive you make your own luck and can fall back on more than the sole decision/chance you moan about every week!

"thing's just aren't dropping for us at the moment".
Jesus Christ Tony.
How about we set out to get what we want from games, instead of hoping things bloody drop?
Jesus wept.

Just an admission that things aren't good enough at the moment would be enough for me.
"Performances haven't been great recently and we need to do better. We're in a bit of a rut at the moment and we'll be doing everything we can do get out that, starting Saturday. We can't sit around moping about it, we've got to take matters into our own hands and get back to winning ways"
....instead we get....
"The performances have been sound Nige, we're just hoping for things to start dropping for us. Nothing to worry about, no need to panic. Everythings fine."

James, the man is so out of touch with what we want - a team which tries to win games, that tries to entertain and excite us, put simply, that is worth watching - that it is staggering......
Grinding out a couple of dour 1-0 wins to secure safety will not make everything alright.

After spending £100m he still thinks you have to rely on luck rather than trust the players do the jobs & go out positively. He really is deluded.

This luck line is cropping up every time he speaks, what he needs to understand is that luck has a way of evaporating when you start to rely on it...

He's right in one respect, we need some luck because we're playing so badly we are unlikely to create anything that resembles a goal scoring opportunity.
I'm thinking of a Keeno/Prudoe style back pass own goal to lift the gloom.

TP: The players are the most important people in any Club, and supporters can give them enormous confidence
So the fans mean fuck all to him then. Not that we didn't already know that

He isn't the only one waiting for things to drop.
Walters would be a start. Followed by Whelan. And then Crouch....

TP: We are either shooting ourselves in the foot, or things just aren't dropping for us at the moment!
Real Meaning: I hope no one mentions one win in 24 away from home and keeps buying this crock of shit re luck not dropping for us
TP: Even Alan admitted last week that Newcastle were fortunate
Real Meaning; Alan amazed me because he thought we were good, when, as usual I set us up to not lose, even though they had been to Russia and back and I know how knackering that can be
TP: We are eleventh in the Premier League at the moment, and we are looking to push on and pick up more points.
Real Meaning; We are 11th FFS - 40 points, 40 points, 40 points and that is a new conservatory in Sandbanks - lovely jubbly
TP: If you win games people are happy, if you lose, people are upset. That's football
Real Meaning; I love stating the bleeding obvious me.
TP: We are in a results determined business, and if we don't get results, then you get criticised. I accept that
Real Meaning; I couldnt give a shit how we play so long as we get to 40 points. More importantly, I couldnt give a shit what the fans think, only what the family think, well not even them actually, just Petesy weetsy
TP: What we need more than anything is a couple of breaks
Real Meaning; I am going to keep doing the same thing again and again because at some point it might work if I get lucky
