I have some sympathy, on occasion the feelings and the manner in which people express them can reach hyperbolic proportions.
Is there any need to insult someone with a contradictory view? No, absolutely not, and the vast majority of the people who populate this board during the day work in a corporate environment and occasionally dip in, and they would not dream of elucidating their feelings in such a manner in a normal situation. However SCFC is an emotive subject to all of us, we care passionately about our football club and the running of it and people will make their opinion known and, given the anonymity the internet offers, do so forcefully. Overly forcefully in some instances.
Fact is it's not up to the administrators to govern, this board has ostensibly always been self-governing. And no, were we all to get a pint each and sit down we would discuss the issues more reasonably than we do on here, but people from either side f the Pulis divide are passionate about their point of view and we are passionate about our club. I see this as only a good thing in the long run.

Why the fuck should I be shitbinned?? I've been eating Rice Krispies for years! Yes nothings changed about them, and they've been a bit boring lately, but I can't guarantee if I would enjoy eating another cereal so I'll just stick with what I know thank you. ;D the problem is though that when you leave it as it is for too long then they stagnate while other cereals push on (just look at Krave or Honey nut loops to name just two.....and they didn't have the financial backing off Rice Krispies!!). the noise just doesn't seem to be there in the same way it was when i was a kid when my dad used to drag me out of bed early on a saturday morning to force me to go the kitchen table....there was the anticipation of what may be, would they stay firm and resolute or just turn into soggy damp squibs. give me a choice of staying with the staus quo having to eat that weak excuse for a breakfast that just disintegrates before the kettles even blown or having to go backwards but at least being entertained then i'll take the latter and go for Ricicles every time!! Snap, Crackle and Pop out!!! But like I said with Rice Krispies you know where you stand. Solid, reliable don't offend the taste buds too much. That fact that they are still one of the most popular cereals amongst others that have had far more investment and have indeed been on Tescos shelves for much longer is surely a great achievement. For me anybody who eats Rice Krispies is sensible with their breakfast and shouldn't need to change. That said though I did spend a lot of money on a box of Lucky Charms. Far far too adventurous for me so I just left them on the shelf.

Is anyone able to type up a quick list of c***s who are actively wishing for the demise of Ricicles?
I'm willing to be on it, even though I was only actually talking about Rice Krispies.

You farmers, you don't like outsiders, do you? You like to stick to your own. You are a big posh sod with plums in your mouth, and the plums have mutated and they have got beaks. You make pigs smoke. You feed beef burgers to swans. You have big sheds, but nobody's allowed in. And in these sheds you have 20ft high chickens, and these chickens are scared because the don't know why they're so big, and they're going, "Oh why am I so massive?" and they're looking down at all the little chickens and they think they're in an aeroplane because all the other chickens are so small. Do you deny that? No, I think her silence speaks volumes. Cash back.

All politeness and no abuse makes this board a very dull place indeed.
Nothing better than a bit of handbags.
In fact, I'd suggest a no limit Sunday (directly after we lose on Saturday) whereby it's a free for all and people can call each other whatever they want a day.

Well I always go for the supermarket brand as their boxes aren't too flashy and don't offend the eyes. I tried putting sugar on at the beginning of my breakfast meal but found that I couldn't tolerate the sweetness and enjoyment for the whole meal. So i just put the sugar on when I have around 10 minutes of eating time left

The little white cat looks to be enjoying them so much, makes you wonder why Whiskers is so popular

If your gonna throw that card in, im gonna admit that last week, i bought some Frosted Wheats!!!! Why why why would you take the risk though? Just play it safe with Rice Krispies. Anybody else who thinks that any other cereals are a possibility obviously dont know the story of Charlton. Their fans had Rice Krispies every day for years. No problems. Then they got a bit bored, threw the Rice Krispies out and went for an unknown brand. Carnage. They got indigestion, couldn't go to work, ended up on the sick, then the dole, lost their houses and are now living in a council estate!!! Be careful what you wish for!!!!!

Im sorry, couldt help it, i got to the point i could tell you when every snap crackle or pop was going to come and i just couldnt take the same thing over and over. Every now and again, you'd hear a slightly different snap or pop, but then, the next day, back to the same routine.
Then on the news i heard people in Tottenham stopped eating them, and again switched to a foreign cereal, it upset their stomachs for a while, but now, they have more energy and go in them than before.
So i snapped, and bought the Wheats.

Rice krispies had already started to destroy them as it was, the new brand just took the flack for what was already a soggy ass excuse for a cereal and the new brand was a handy scapegoat! let's not reinvent history and pretend Charlton were great before Rice Krispie-gate!

'I'm just destroying my cereals!'
(What I've managed to do there is combine the Partridge element of the thread and the cereal aspect)
Now, Jet from Gladiators to host a millennium barn dance at Yeovil aerodrome. Properly policed. It must not, I repeat not, turn into an all-night rave.
