Just listened to last nights P&G, with Lee Blakeman, alot of rightly frustrated fans called..
Its really starting to get the better of me, the media and the outsiders suggesting 'look how far you've come' etc etc. (Lee Blakeman obviously being a serious offender)
They obviously don't understand what we're having to put up with every week do they?
I support Stoke City, not the Premier League and not Tony Pulis. When I buy a ticket to see Stoke City, I buy a ticket to watch Stoke City, not a ticket to watch Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal, Tottenham play against Stoke City. So when I buy a ticket to watch my club, I want to see us play some football, I want to see us attack teams, I want to see the best team picked week-in week-out, I want us to buy the younger and more skill full players and watch them shine, progress and mature week by week, I want to see our more technical players allowed to express themselves, I want to see us play for all 3 points away from home. I want the passion back within the fans and a positive aura in the stands. A return of the anticipation and excitement we once loved. THAT's what I pay for and THAT's what I want to see regardless of what league we are in. I don't expect us to turn into Barcelona over night or anything like that. We aren't asking for much are we?
We just won't see any of the aforementioned under Tony Pulis, we never will, those things will never change under this management! So 'look at how far we've come, look at where we are now'. It's all bollocks. Its easy for someone on the outside looking in to say that. Its easy to say that if you don't watch it and pay good money to watch it week-in, week-out.
Why does it matter what league we are in or where we've been? A significant number of fans (increasing by the second) are beginning to lose the passionate connection between themselves and their beloved Stoke City FC! That in itself should speak louder than anything else at this football club so.. please Sir, don't let it continue!
You never know where new management could take us, nobody does, nobody can predict the future. Their are circumstances unique to every football club regarding the appointment of a new manager. What I do know is, I want my football club back!

You should ignore the pricks. It's just another very thinly veiled attempt to have a go at the club in general, it's not like they actually believe what they are saying. That fucking Blakeman lad looks about 12 years old the cunt.

The national press were way too critical of us in the early days, particularly in Premier League seasons two and three where we were painted as the footballing anti christ despite playing some decent stuff and quite often being on the receiving end of some rough stuff - so why would they suddenly get things 'right' now?
I don't hear too much local stuff but on a national level it quickly become apparent after promotion just how lazy, hackneyed and cliched journos could be. It's the same now just from a different angle.

just like to say spot on block 22 i to want the stoke back i have followed for the past 40 years. about lee blackman did not here him on p&g so cannot coment on what he or others said .dont know lee personally what i do know is my son was at staffs uni with lee same journalism course and before he got the job with radio stoke he followed stoke all over the country for some years in the lower leagues bad times and good times. i know his father who is a massive stoke fan he still travels away games etc. i would guess lee is been told the lines to take during p&g and are not his personnel views ? and i bet lee is chuffed (not)he now has to see the vale each week interview vale players and supporters and would much rather be doing this at stoke instead but work comes first for some people.

Thanks, I'm sure I'm speaking for an increasing number of others not just myself.
