We haven't had a Bony thread for a while Bry but surely it's a little early for any transfer speculation?

Pity we missed out on William "Billy the Kid" Bonney. At least he could shoot.

i sat next to him on a flight from joburg to paris after the got knocked out of the caf.
he likes scrabble, has a christian louboutin ipad holder and shoes and seems to be the main lad the rest of the cote divoire team take the piss out of.... which he took in good humour to be fair.
seems a good lad, a bit dopey.... speaks very little english

According to sports journo Graeme Bailey, Bony is going to West Ham for a club record fee.
What a surprise.

Some mention of Stoke interest in Mail... Daily MailHis contract at the club runs until 2015 but Sportsmail understands his agent is in talks with at least four Premier League clubs — including West Ham, Fulham, Stoke and Everton — and hopes to complete a deal by the end of the week.

Would be a great signing IMO, can't see any player scoring 10+ or 15+ regularly with Pulis in charge though unfortunately

TP would use him as an impact sub.

Without sounding too negative, im not quite sure our negotiating team have it in them to out do west ham, fulham or everton for Bony.
Pulis would have to get involved for a start and hes sorting the team for the weekend.
Far to early for Stoke to deal with any new players. Would of loved him here though.
West Ham bound, then we wait again for Carlton Cole...

He wouldnt be a 10+ goal a season scorer in a TP team, we arent set up to score goals. And he'll go to a bigger club, of which there are plenty. We'll sign a 6'2"+ striker in his late 20's/early 30's along with a CB, no wingers amd definately no FBs.

West Ham seem to be a team who like to throw a lot of money around in the hope that 1/2 pay off Maiga, Pogatetz and the french midfielder anyone.

Dutch reportWest Ham United are still hopeful of a short-term deal with Vitesse to conclude a transfer of Wilfried Bony. Chelsea hopes meanwhile to avoid a transfer to a top English club, a competitor of Chelsea.
West Ham is not seen as a rival.
The managers of the top scorer of the Eredivisie spoke today (Monday) in London with representatives of the club, but there are more candidates.
Also, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton and Stoke City are very interested in the 24-year-old Ivorian, who at Vitesse still has a contract until 2015.
Bony announced today that he is eager to move to England. "I love the Premier League and would like to play if the opportunity is there" said the striker.
The management of Vitesse hitherto denied all contact with interested clubs, but the fact is that Bony today himself is in England.
Chelsea seems to have a crucial role in the negotiations, given the ties that the Champions League winners have with Vitesse. Roman Abramovich will, in exchange for his support of the Arnhem club, at least one voice in the choice of the new employer of Bony and perhaps a first right to purchase terms.

Maybe - but if the suggestion that Abramovich is the real owner of Vitesse is true, he isn't going to want him going to anyone who's going to be a Champions League contender?
Even so, you'd think we'd be well behind West Ham, with nothing to offer that they couldn't.
