They did tbf. Once the 'keeper was sent off they didn't try until the 90th and they promptly scored. They will have barely sweated as was the ease in which they cantered to victory.

Is that why we wait for an hour before we try to score? It's a respect thing man!

Well done Michu, you patronising SOB. Feeling sorry for iccle Bradford so you just decided to keep the ball for a bit eh? Is it yours and are you are taking it home afterwards then?. What total drivel!!
What I love about Swansea for all the continued plaudits/media love in and the fine words to describe their 'crisp' passing style is that we well and truly stuffed them when they came to our place this season.
Michu was non-existent and we could/should have scored more, they were that poor.
Will be interesting to see how they get on in Europe next season.

I wish they'd played keep ball for a little bit longer, I had 4-0 at 14/1.

To be fair you can afford to be a little bit condescending about ball retention when you retain the ball.

No problem with keeping the ball but when it becomes the 'raison d'etre' then I would liken it to sitting back and watching Coldplay at Glastonbury, who needs sleeping pills Michu can do one, but I would admit that Swansea are way more direct and pacey than they ever were under Uncle Brendan.

I thought it was fair enough from Swansea.
I'd rather see Swansea patronisingly play keep-ball than, say, Chelsea gloating their way to a cricket score.

You make your own luck. Swansea had to beat the European champions over two legs to reach the final.

Swansea were a pleasure to watch yesterday. It's like they play a different sport to us. Glad you enjoyed it. Doesn't alter the fact that when they come to our place we turn them over. Long may it continue. We just need to get to the point where we turn them over at their place with our 'alternative style', then I will be 100% happy.

Michu can do one, but I would admit that Swansea are way more direct and pacey than they ever were under Uncle Brendan. As bad as we've been recently I've never subscribed to emulating other teams or even admiring them that much. I wouldn't swap what we have for the current Sunderland/West Ham/West Brom set ups or pretty much anyone else in the mediocre mid table, Liverpool included. This Swansea outfit are sensational though. A million times better for me than when Brentdon had them (when they got up my hooter a bit with their constant fannying about). Hard defenders, great pace, great passing, great retention but always with an eye to getting it forward pretty quickly. I can only admire them and they get better with every passing week. Yes we've pretty much dicked them both times at home but regardless of what people say we are a good home side. Swansea are now the team to aspire to for any team coming up if you have a nucleus of those type of players.

One thing I will add is will players continue to be attracted they have built their own monster now. I'm not sure these good managers will stick around to see it through. Europa on the cards squad needs thickening.......I supose what I'm saying is this was us 2 years ago, will they do it better than us? Football is a funny old game for sure.

really starting to like swansea.
and fair play, bradford went down to 10 men and maybe swansea did go abit easier on them. good showing of respect. you never see any of thier players forearm smashing other players, or slapping anyone. Do admit you may see a couple dive but not much.
The manager seems to know what he is sdoing, great set up!.
difference with swansea and stoke at the moment is a manager that knows how far thier club can go. Our manager just thinks we will do the bare minimum to stay up. in the mean time ill throw loads of cash at it to compensate for me not having a tactical clue!

And why talk to the press about it after the fact. I'd rather be spanked 20-0 than have a member of an opposing team giving interviews about how they weren't even trying.

Fair comment, I was talking about the sentiment itself rather than the talking about it. In Swansea's defence, it's impossible to know how conversations reported in the papers unfolded in reality. Michu wasn't necessarily making a big deal of it.
