Only just got around to reading Saturday's oatcake and have to say what a superb article Bunny wrote with regard to the service and qualities of both Thomas Sorenson and Rory Delap.
I couldn't have said it any better myself and it echoed absolutely 100% my feelings on both of them.
With Ric gone, Rory soon to follow and you'd expect, Sorenson not far behind, we are fast running out of heroes. God forbid Shawcross were to leave.
Great reading Bunny.
Whilst on the subject, super article on movies by OrfyBoothen as well. My Mrs asked me about 4 times what I was laughing at!
Good effort both of you!

Got to admit, other than Hard Bastard, Bunnys articles is the first thing that I read. Honest views from an honest fan, top reading!

Also on the subject, the marksman mentioned the possibility of the Pieters deal being sorted in the summer. Does anyone know if this guy has the inside track as it were?

I thought "Tony" blew everything else in the issue out of the water myself.

Many thanks for the comments. Really enjoyed reading this week's mag. Indeed, it's been superb all season.
Loved the Tony cartoon.

Interesting how things go round.
I remember an Oatcake article titled "No More Heroes" from when I was a kid (late 80s/early 90s), harking back to the days of Greenhoff, Smith, Banks and Hudson, who were all long before my time.
At that stage in my Stoke supporting life, there had literally been no heroes whatsoever.
Since then we've had the team of 93 and the team of 2011 which, as well as delivering success on the pitch, were jam-packed with the kind of man's man you could really admire. The latter aspect of the 2011 team is fading for sure.
Are these kind of character-based teams really something that only come about once every 20 years?
Can someone post Bunny's article online for those of us who can't buy the magazine?
