wholeheartedly. About Gascoigne.
Joseph Barton @joey7barton
And also not picking up and paper today to read who has now pledged money to help him. Its embarrassing and has become a PR exercise Paul is a proud man. Its humiliating enough living your life in the public eye in his situation. Last thing he needs is PR guru's telling.. ..their clients to 'Chip in' its good PR. thats what happening now. You fucking blood sucking leaches. If you want to help or donate money.. ..do it privately or in person, not in the main stream media. The audacity of some people makes my stomach turn.
Listening to Morgan, Evans and the despicable Irani has made me fell bilious.

Agreed, although that no mark Irani needs all the PR he can get.
His co hosting with Brazil in the morning is embarrassing, shambolic claptrap.

I'm sure you're right that there is a large amount of self interest driving these peoples actions. Personally I couldn't care less why they're doing it, I'm just glad somebody's helped Gazza's get some help. The lad's a National treasure, by far the most gifted English footballer of his generation (and quite a few others). Sad to see what he's doing to himself.

Irani is the most inept presenter I've ever heard. The only way I can listen to him is by picturing him as a Father Dougal Maguire type character. He's in the same room as Brazil and their guests but is totally bewildered as to what they are talking about and doesn't quite understand what's going on around him...

Beckhams situation is completely different. He didn't need to do what he did, he's a genuine good guy who doesn't need any more pr than he's got.

Possibly, given a lot of his money to other charities to. Not sure he's given to Gazza yet though

How people can still find a way to have a pop at Beckham I do not know. He's donating 3 million pounds of his own money to a children's charity for crying out loud, I don't care if it is public knowledge, it's a bloody marvellous gesture!

I remember earlier in the season when Huth 'stud on' Suarez. We were due to play united away shortly after I think, and that glory hunter spent the whole show going on about how Huth should be banned so he'd miss the united game.
Brazil would be on about some other team then irani would go on about Huth again. Tried his best to get him banned

the Beckham donation is a tax reduction. He'll make a hell of a lot more from merchandise sales. The children benefit, but let's not kid ourselves that Beckham is all heart! I have to agree with momo, this circus surrounding Gazza is embarrassing. I want him to recover as much as the next man....the problem is, Gazza seemingly doesn't

He'll be getting some sweet deals off the back of this regardless of donating his salary to charity, Qatar 2022 will be a nice earner especially. This is the best way to donate to charity www.express.co.uk/posts/view/209379/How-Ricky-Tomlinson-kept-quiet-over-1m-charity-giftI'm still spewing at that cunt Piers' despicable gloating for his 'sing the anthem I'll donate a grand' bullshit. Sunday Mail made themselves look right twats yesterday by trying to link David Beckhams £700k a month to a £3m a year tax avoidance trick on his global £200m fortune. So let me get this right, Sunday Mail, Beckham is giving away nearly £8.5m a year to avoid a £3m tax bill. The mail is a joke of a newspaper.

David Beckham has just donated £3 million to a children's charity, raising their profile in the process, and thus encouraging more donations.
What a cunt.

I'm pretty charitable but I certainly don't donate 1.5% of my net worth to charity! FFS give the guy a break - I'm no Beckham fan, but credit where credit is due, he could have spent that £3.5M on tax evasion lawyers...

I think he may have done it the wrong way around. The idea is to quietly donate your money to the charity while bigging them up, rather than making a big point of donating your money to charity and never actually mentioning their name.

The mail is a joke of a newspaper. that might be true of the Mail but Beckham only has a 5 month contract and will live in the UK to avoid French taxes, sure a charity ends up with £3m it wouldn't have otherwise but it's costing Beckham very little personally as it would have otherwise gone to the french taxman.

I didn't read any of the press reports in depth, but they seemed to completely miss the name of the charity in the midst of the race to produce the first full Beckham hagiography. It's quite nice of him, really.
