Yep i hear that. Been a Stokie since watching a 0 - 0 at home to Villa in 1987 i think. Dont normally post on forums but needed to get involved. The nervous excitement is something different this time. Got my ticket, cant wait.

Since 1968, first game Newcastle and we won 1-0 from a David Herd header. I was a season ticket with my Dad for many years and saw many of the great matches and great players... Santos & Ajax at the Vic, whipping Arsenal 5-0 in 1971, 2 FA Cup Semi Finals, unfortunately missed the League Cup Final but was there for the Autoglass trophy against Bristol. Seen the likes of Banksie, Shilts, Smithy, Bluto, Pej, Marsh, Conroy, Greenhof, Ritchie, Hudon, Steino, Chanberlain, Waddo, Foxy, etc. etc.
Yet all of the above now seem irrelevant comapred to what we can do in the next 3 games. Now spreading the SCFC gospel among the disbelievers in Sunny Cyprus but will be watching on SKY on Saturday and will be wiyh you every step along the way.
In the words of he immortal Sir Stan (1963) "If we do not go up as champions, I'd prefer not to go up".
PLEASE DO EEEEETTT !!

Cyprus that says it all for me. I started going Stoke the first season after the 85 relegation so I see this as THE season for me. We have to go up as I've waited a lifetime for top flight football and its beginning frustrate the life out of me. You've been there and done it and still feel the importance. Come on stoke
Good news, found some alcohol

Now 41 been a Stokie since my first game , which was Gordon Banks attempt at a comeback following the accident Notts Forest Reserves at home, Saw the likes of Ajax and Mansfield away on a wet Tuesday back in 79 (i think!), Blythe Spartans (when we had to go the Bourne sports and borrow a yellow and blue kit cos the came in stripes..if i remember rightly).and numerous more decidely forgettable moments! Wouldn't want to change a moment of it either!

Since 1961 and we have nearly won 2 fa cup semis, nearly won the old div 1.seen all the other small cups, but tomorrow could be,financialy at least, the biggest game of my 47 years of supporting scfc.If we win then next week will be the most important game, followed by leicester.I am crapping me sen already in sunny thailand.its 11.00am here and ready for songkran then the mighty potters.Hope no bcfc in our bar cos we are drinking most of the day and pattayapotter is a nasty fucker heheheheheheh.soicowboy is a big drinker and i am a wuss heheheheheheheheh. goarnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn stoke

Was first taken down the Vic in 1955 when I was nine, by me Dad but was only allowed in the paddock. Started serious watching in the Bothen when I started in the pit aged 15. Have been passionate about The Potters almost the whole of my life!! And YES I am still bloody nervous before every game even now, I never miss a game on the internet and am well known in Pafos for my support of SCFC. Keep the faith we will do it.Goooooooooooooooon Stoke!!

Been going since 1986, seen some awful and some great football over the years. And like you, 606stokie, this is the most nervous I've been since that 2nd leg. My dad keeps saying that it's the most important game for the club since the league cup final. And the anticipation and nervous energy that is surrounding every Stoke fan I have spoken to this week, I believe that it may well be. I feel close to tears I'm so nervous, it's fucking bizarre!

Leyton Orient 93 was me first ever game. Became a season ticket holder after I cried when we failed to get promotion to the prem the last time, my dad decided "I was ready".
Never felt so nervous in the lead up to a match. Really believe if we win today we will go up.
GOOOAAARN STOKE

20 years as a stokie signing in and saying I'm feeling the pressure today. If we score it's going to be a huge mental I think. Out pouring of emotion. Imagine Leicster
