Throughout Pulis management career at Stoke just as the knives are about to be truly drawn he comes up with the right result.Call it brilliant motivation or complete luck but it always seems to happen.Just an observation .Any way well done Stoke and a massive massive result.

Crucial Result, we were all over them from the start but the football was nothing short of an Eyesore until he bought the Strikers on who should be starting in my opinion.
Well done Stoke ;D

It's not luck. He just knows how to get a result when he's up against it, which is a great quality.

Could he have possibly come up against easier opposition at this crucial time though? Fuck me it was a dire performance up until the substitutions though!!!

The right result but the performances remain worrying. Reading were one of the worst team's we have faced since Promotion and we nearly threw it away at the end.
We must improve our performances otherwise we might aswell stay at home and watch matches on Ceefax.
It's really poor fare and not acceptable for top level football.

I take it you dont agree? I can't understand the stick you're getting for a pretty basic observation, mate.

Why is the OP getting grief? Seems a fairly accurate statement, he doesn't express an opinion on the manager himself in regards of being pro/anti.

How is it when we lose its not the managers fault but the players on the pitch, but when we win its the manager who's brilliant ?

How is it when we lose its not the managers fault but the players on the pitch, but when we win its the manager who's brilliant ? Because its not always the same players but it is always the same manager.I also never said he was brilliant but a pattern is certainly emerging.

Reading have lost 10 of 13 away games for a reason!
