Bit torn between these two, as I have no love of either. So going for a 2-2 draw, as I reckon there are goals in this game.

Lovely chipped pass from Glen Johnson, and superb through ball from Jordan Henderson, within about 60 seconds of each other.
Shame that both were to Man City players in the danger area.

Bit of karma there for Man City.
Last week against us they kept falling down and expecting play to be stopped, basically cheating.
This week they do the same, Liverpool play on and Sturridge fires the ball into the corner of the net.

True, but a shame that the team which profits from the karma is one of the few in the world which rivals Citeh in their blatant disregard for the idea of fair play.

He has a team around him now Henderson is better than people give him credit for. Ii fancy Liverpool for an outside chance for fourth spot

Milner, Sturridge, Gerrard and Downing all played well today.
Must be something in the water for four over-rated Englishmen to all play well on the same day.
Henderson and Johnson obviously didn't drink any of that water mind.

Can I just check out something?
Are we still officially pointing and laughing in the general direction of Brendan Rodgers and thanking our lucky stars that we have the capped one instead of this merchant of crappy tippy tappy football?
It's just that Liverpool appear to be progressing and being quite effective.

Mark at 9-45pm on Boxing day did you think the same? They are improving and played very well again today and i think Daniel Sturridge has proved to be a very good signing[which i got wrong] and look to have progressed upwards whilst we've gone the other way.

No most certainly not. That is why I needed to check out if we have now moved on from using Rodgers as our laugh at the thought of a progressive manager icon. It seems to be getting inconveniently misplaced judging by how Liverpool are improving.

He's gradually done well but imo he's unlikeable as a manager/person and you of all people should know that when that occurs its hard to like someone

I hate this, zooming into the tackle to see if there is any contact. It was no where near enough for him to go down from it!

I don't like the Pulis' interpretation of football. You don't like Rodgers as a person. I think that makes me a better person!

Rodgers did make a monumental cock up by moving Agger to left back when Enrique went off.

Rodgers did himself no favours with that pathetic Channel 5 programme not so long ago but he seems to have bedded down now and got his team playing well but even their own fans are still unsure of him.As for the capped one i still think this will be his last season but time will tell.

You lot are so fickle. You weren't saying this when we lost to Oldum last week. So this week he's lost at Oldum, thrown away leads at tinpot clubs, Arse and Citeh, by using square pegs and terrible substitutions. Rodgers Out! We should go for Tony Pulis!

Why were they blarting about Sturridges goal? The ref didn't give the foul and Dzeko stayed down. Why did he stay down? Turns out he wasn't injured. Instead of helping his teammates win the ball back he's lying down. Cheating tweat.
Does anyone outside England reckon Hart is amongst the best keepers in the world? Really?
Fantastic game. The winners of the game were the shit
