I'm sure we will get loads of posts having a good chuckle on Steve Bruce's account, but just another example of a cowardly, 2 faced wanker playing the game.
Hull City manager Steve Bruce on DJ Campbell after the QPR striker walked out on talks with the club to meet Blackburn Rovers after claiming he was going to get lunch: "The way they handled the situation, saying they were going for lunch and then going to Blackburn, was shocking.
"I've never felt so disappointed. We were left trying to find out where they were for the best part of two hours. I've got absolutely no problem with him going to Blackburn if they'd just phoned and said 'thanks for your offer but we've had a wonderful offer from Blackburn'. The lack of respect by him and his representatives left a bad taste in the mouth."

Sadly many footballers are limited in the brain cell department whilst being over endowed with ego

Maybe Fathead is the tosser. That shows him as an even bigger coward then. If that was the case, he would have had a good case to leave. Why didn't he tell Hull what he has just told the world through twitter Why did he have to say he was going to lunch??? Twitter is made for cowards like this who don't have the balls to say to someone's face That message makes him look even more stupid.

Welcome to the cesspit that is English Football. Along with the baggies twat Odemwingie yesterday these two just epitomise why I despair for football right now. And it is about to get far worse next season when PL will be swimming in cash. It's fucking horrible and the Government are right to step in if spineless FA dunner get its house in order PDQ.

He calls himself DJ. Perhaps he thought he was meeting his idol Tony Blackburn.
Now where did I put my coat...

Role models one and all.
Maybe when Rory hangs up his boots he can educate some of these utter arseholes in the ways of common decency and professionalism.

Maybe one of these days when we get a striker , or indeed a player that scores us 18-25 goals a season we can sit here and pontificate how much of a cunt at home he is?

Yes, Campbell is a wanker, but who could fail to be amused at the thought of Steve Bruce sitting in his office for two hours on transfer deadline day afternoon, looking at his watch every couple of minutes, repeatedly telling everyone: "He'll be back in a minute."

It's got to be the shitty agent. He nails a deal with Hull, then wants to keep it in the back pocket while he talks to Blackburn. just in case that doesnt work out, he doesn't want Bruce going off and filling the gap with someone else in the meantime.
I suspect that regulation for agents is just round the corner.
