Would this work?
Buy players, and play them in the positions they are accustomed too?

Anything is possible - we need to score more goals! Passes to our strikers need to be on target and they need more chances! Whelan, NZonzi, Adam get some shooting practice in too

We don't score enough goals, nothing to do with Walters, Crouch, Jones. It is simply because whovever is putting crosses in cannot beat the first man, whether it is ethers, Kightly, Pennant, Shotton, Wilkinson etc.. It is so obvious. Put 30 crosses into the six yard box we will score goals, we put an average of five in per game. Very, very simple.

So in answer yes it would work if you get crosses in

Have you seen Adam tackling anyone. He's very poor and rash, so no I don't think it would work Charlie sat there.

no, not with Charlie there, and Pennant in a central role.
I'd stick with a basic 4-4-2 with whelan behind Nzonzi, 2 wide wingers and Jones (crouch), Walters(jerome) up top

We'll never know, because Pennant will never play for Stoke again and will be gone in the Summer; Shea will not play this season; at least one of Crouch / Jones will be gone in the Summer.

You seriously think Shea will start a game for Stoke?
