It doesn't matter if its Rochdale stoke or man utd. When the fans turn on the manager, there's only one way it will end. Always as been and always will. The coming weeks will show if the majority of fans are behind him or not? You're wasting your time on here mate, some folk are that blind in their faith for Pulis that it also affects their memories where Coates is concerned. You are right though once/if/when the crowd turns there is only ever one outcome. i'm a rarity on this board as i actuly go to the games, all this anti pulis shit on here is beyond a joke, we used to be famous for our support but the oatcake warriors have dragged us in the gutter. you should have been round in the alan ball era then you would have somat to moan about for the record pulis is staying- good

I dont wish Pulis to leave , but some people live on beans and Toast to afford their match ticket and when the team is unbalanced and not too entertaining, then it is damn right disrespectful to us the supporters. with loan deals and free agents etc there are no excuses. Pulis needs to do his job and get our team the 10 points needed. so the summer/end of the season is the time to let mr Coates know our expectations . Which is not much is it. Then an entertaining team and the necessary balanced squad.

Just to clarify, on what basis do you think Pulis should be fired? 1. he didnt sign a left back 2. its not very entertaining 3. there might be someone better any more..... "It's not very entertaining" ;D Isn't that like saying Hitler was 'a little bit naughty' ???

As I said, the fans at the game will either back him or sack him. I'm not calling which way it will go? Everyone as there own opinion on pulis. If the majority back him he'll stay. If they turn on him, there can only be one out come in the end. After watching football for over 30yrs,there's been managers in football who have done a lot more than pulis and been sacked by there club. Don't know why you pulis fans worry if you that confident he won't be sacked?? Roll on next season I've had enough of this one????

Well that seals it. There is no way on this earth that Coates is even thinking - even in the darkest recesses of his mind - about TP going. Just no way after he's been allowed to sign two players - one that definitely won't play this season, and the other that's unlikely to have much of an impact (if at all) this season. Much that I'm not particularly happy, we have to accept that and move on. butland is a prospect for the future. I don't know anything about the american. However, I wouldn't be surprised if neither of them ever starts a game for stoke city. I wonder what odds are available for this scenario. I would fancy a flutter on that!

Just to clarify, on what basis do you think Pulis should be fired? 1. he didnt sign a left back 2. its not very entertaining 3. there might be someone better any more..... Interesting. What if he tried to sign a full back and Coates wouldn't support him financially, or the player wouldn't come or the deal got scuppered by another club Entertaining is a subjective thing. I was at the Chelsea match and although we were tonked, I thought we were great to watch. I also think there are signs that we are trying to change (I admit not everyone agrees) but I see season on season progress and there are plenty of clubs that tried to find the instant entertainment button and got relegated. There is always someone better, but I think there needs to be some kind of objective reason to sack Pulis and I hecent seen anything thatwould stack up in a tribunal -quite the opposite on paper. Also, with the best will in the world, there is no guarantee that the next guy, will be any better, very often it gets a lot worse.

Tuesday was an uttter disaster but the anti Pulis mob really need to be careful about what they wish for maybe he has reached his limit - he's one dimensional, overtly stubborn and frustrating as hell he has better players but is not presently playing better football he learns albiet much slower than we would like reason to have him sacked then ? Im not sure There can be no greater dilema in the life of a Stoke City fan at the moment: TP or not TP ?... that is the question!

Of course you are right and I wasn't around in the Alan Ball era at all and I've also only been watching Stoke since we got in the premier league. I have never been to around 50 league grounds all over the country over the last 30 years so I bow down to you and your massive cock. I am of the opinion that our manager has taken us as far as he can and that our football is(most of the time)as bad as anything I've ever seen,we are fucking awful to watch 90% of the time and I make no bones about the fact that I want a change of manager. For your information it isn't just a few keyboard warriors on here who share my concerns as you would know because you went to last Tuesdays match, apparently.

Do some of you think before you keep peddling the non entertaining rubbish. The away games no doubt, but at home i've recently seen 3-1 3-3 0-4 4-1 2-2 and that's not entertaining?

He was insinuating that most people who post on here don't actually go to games and was also assuming that I couldn't have seen the Alan Ball era otherwise I wouldn't be feeling the way I do now about watching Pulis' football. Nowt pisses me off more at the minute than jumped up idiots who think they are a better fan than someone else because they don't share their opinion that Pulis can do no wrong

I'll tell you what is utter nonsense..... The fact that certain people still can't get their head around the fact that it goes a lot deeper than current league positions. Or is it that they can,but are just clinging on to the only argument they can get their hands on?
