Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends.
And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the Stoke City dream.
I have a dream that one day the mighty potters will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal and we will reach the promise land"
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Old Trafford, the manager and the players will group together and ply there trade in the table of the Premier League.
I have a dream that one day the city of Stoke-on-Trent, a city brimming with the pride for our beloved Stoke City, will finally have a premiership team after many years in wait.
I have a dream that Fuller and Lawrence will one day wear the colours of Stoke City against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool and show Lineker and Co exactly what it means to wear the read and white jersey, the pride of the red and white.
I have a dream today! The players enter the Britannia to the sound of Pottermouths battle cry and the roar from the City crowd.
I have a dream that one day, I will see premiership football week in week out at the Brit.
I have dream that tomorrow is our judgement day. Our players will stand up and be counted backed every step of the way by the fans.
I have a dream today!
Do us proud lads, take us to the promise land.
