Like March, I am old (52) -but Pulis offers absolutely nothing that makes Football an event, something to lift you out of the everyday mundane drudgery of work and gets you begging for more. Do not be to quick to assume that we are safe at this juncture, Hull, Blackpool and Reading all did nosedives from a position similair to ours. If we do not finish higher than last year, with more points and more goals, then come MAy, send him packing.

Vale got rid of JR because he had 'taken them as far as he could'. Same goes for Big Sam at Blackburn and Megson at Bolton. I wonder where Soton will be in 12 months? You must have very little faith in the people running Stoke City as you're implying they would bring in a very poor manager, a bit like the clubs you mention. So let me get this right, you slag off the players, by implication you slag off the manager because he keeps picking them, now you're having a go at Coates and the rest of the board. Wow.

Definite no from me, but he's got to change and I'm not sure he can! I'm happy to continue in mid table mediocracy for a season or two at a push but many supporters wont accept the performances we've witnessed since the turn of the year. I agree - realistic expectations at the moment -a top 10 finish A bonus a good cup run I was hopeful that some of our more recent signings were an indication of the way the club are trying to move forward. At the moment it isn't quite happening, despite a very long unbeaten run and an excellent performance v Liverpool. We have a habit of playing well against most of the "bigger" clubs -looking at our next league home fixtures (Wigan, Reading West Ham - all potential banana skins) we should be focussing on TPs favourite 40 point target asap PULIS TO STAY

Yes.
I could go with the idea of bringing in a new broom during the Summer, give them a full pre-season and the new Sky money coming in to make the matchday experience more enjoyable.
I know who we are, I'm happy with midtable and the occasional cup run but we can do that without making the matchday experience such a chore and the club a pariah.
I just want to enjoy watching Stoke again because at the moment I've lost that matchday buzz.

As soon as I saw the team I didn't even both searching for a stream. I'm so so glad I didn't go today I'd be fuming. I was eyeing up Arsenal in 2 weeks but after today I don't think I'll bother.
The frustrating part is trying to find any kind of rational behind Pulis' thinking and tactics. His inability to play players in their correct positions is absolutely infuriating and his pathetic post match excuses are laughable.
Change isn't always a bad thing and to be honest I've said this before and I'll say it again..... He's done wonders for our club and deserves the respect for this and unless we were in real crisis I'd never call for his head BUT if he was to go tomorrow I wouldn't be disappointed one bit. I'd just worry who we could get to take over and get the best out of or current crop.

I confess to being jealous of the swanseas , hate pulis ball always have , if he did go I would genuinely feel excited about the future , granted with the the right man and coates money !

The worrying thing though is that out of that list only N'Zonzi isn't something that happened or was signed PRIOR to this season.

Consistent progress for 7 years, never in relegation trouble, 11 months unbeaten at home, most clean sheets, first FA Cup Final, best ever Euro campaign, marvellous signing after marvellous signing. Whichever way you look at it, TP's achievements out weigh his failings by an outstanding extent. Every manager has a few critics and loses the odd game, but only a very select group can equal the incredible record TP has at SCFC.

No - not at this stage of the season it would be too risky to change strategy.
However as most people acknowledge Pulis will never change his personal strategy so it is fruitless to hope for any change of style or approach whilst he remains a manager/coach.
Equally he would never accept a "move" upstairs. I like many others have abandoned away matches in anticipation of grim defiance or damage limitation - it is horrible and predictable.
We have not progressed our away approach at all and probably never will. We will sneak an occasional away win by good fortune, but rarely on merit.
I'm frankly still perplexed by how Pulis mentions to encourage good footballers to the club as they must know that individual skills are held in such low esteem.
