Have you travelled 4 and a half hours to go and watch that shit? Didnt thinkso. Any fan who has been today has a perfectly valid opinion. Like I say. If he stays, fine, but he needs to improve the team. If he goes, likewise, providing we get in a decent replacement I couldnt give a flying cunt. It is 25 days since we trounced Liverpool and folk on here were talking about him as the best manager in the world. The truth is somewhere between the two. And you know perfectly well Rossi that I have put my time in at games home and away when young and fit enough. If Soton were cretins yesterday then getting rid of TP would be 1000 times more stupid. That wasnt aimed at you March. I suspect you have done your fair share of travelling the country for the cause. My point is that you cant say someone is stupid because they have a differing opinion. It depends...it wouldnt be stupid if a decent replacement is available. If a decent replacement isnt available then we should stick with him. The whole concept of "dont go if you dont like it" also pisses me off (again thats not aimed at you)... as far as i'm concerned anyone who pays their money to watch the same old shit away from home has every right to express their views, whether you agree or not. We go to support the club.

The football needs to have an excitement injection, if TP can deliver it probably over the Summer then no, but many of us 'old stagers'from the 60's and 70's are becoming bored with the binary results week in week out.

Definite no from me, but he's got to change and I'm not sure he can! I'm happy to continue in mid table mediocracy for a season or two at a push but many supporters wont accept the performances we've witnessed since the turn of the year.

For me. IF he sells Jones and we end up Carlton Cole then yes.
Also if he rebenches Kenny in favour of Crouch for the next game then he needs to step aside.

No - if you want continuing mid table finishes and virtually guaranteed premier league football yes - if you want a different type of football with the positives and disadvantages that may flow from that. I have no idea at the moment but would wish him well if he left and wouldnt be scared of a new era as long as PC was prepared to back the new man with the same cash he backs tony I'm an old man. You youngsters might want to risk the club's future. You have the time to watch the club struggle in the lower leagues for 23 years over again. I've had my Purgatory and I want us to stay exactly where we are with the odd cup run.

No, and Im saying that with a heavy heart and contemplating a miserable weekend after that fucking car crash today.
However if the cunt was in my house now, he would be slowly tortured until he could explain some of his decisions with any validity.
I am positively seething this evening.

Yes - tired of negative tactics, bad signings, favouritism and plying individuals out of position.

At home, no....away, yes.
Perhaps the answer is for Coates to insist he bring a technical director with the balls to stand up to him a bit and question his tactics....guide him a bit. The positive thing is that if he could only change and adapt he will be a very good manager. Unfortunately he only has a plan A.

With the group of players PC has paid for we should be way better than we are. This surely has to be the quote of the day !

Numpty here only a blind an one blinded by nepotism could start crouch and Adam today his race is run time to go ideally before the sale of jones sees us drawn into the dogfight Drawn into a dogfight? You can't see us being able to pick up 10 points from all the remaining games? You've said some silly things in your time on this board benjamin but i think this takes the biscuit.

And more importantly there is not a cat in hells chance of it happening, the thought won't even have crossed Coates's mind. We're no where near danger and Coates knows that, he doesn't care if the away support find it tedious, even if it is

Vale got rid of JR because he had 'taken them as far as he could'.
Same goes for Big Sam at Blackburn and Megson at Bolton.
I wonder where Soton will be in 12 months?
