Apparently a rumour going around on Twitter from Taylor Twellman of ESPN that an EPL team will place a 3M bid on Brek Shea from MLS to play as left back.
Wonder if that team is Stoke. We need a LB and we've delved into MLS before.

Pulis loves Wilson at LB and he is back soon

He does, but Wilkinson is looking more and more like he isn't the greatest back up. Shea can also play winger.

For what it's worth in Career Mode I managed USMNT on the side on FIFA 13 and he was a bit of a liability. Ended up replacing him with Villa's Lichaj. Pretty conclusive stuff on that game too...

Unless the management have had a big change of heart, we won't be interested in Olsson... quote "Not our kind of fullback". Don't be surprised if we bring in another player from USA though. Don't know if we'll sign Shea but it certainly fits in with what I heard back end of last year

He's a better attacker than defender treminds me of a cheap bale or baines like player with height he has a cracking shot like holden and if he beats someone he's blows by them he has pace and can pass, his weakest attributes are tackling and he has a temper but i think stoke could use a player like him he brings it everygame where geoff can turn off or on you don't know who's there. I watch him in MLS alot here.

The mention of left-back does lead me to think it's Stoke.
Only TP would try and find a niche for him at left-back when he's played 95% of his time on the wing.
You'd have to question whether he could be moulded into a TP-style LB, though, when he's such an attacking player - albeit one who's left-footed and very big and fast.

I really think he could, he's not amazing at defence but he can mark and he's an asset going forward for sure'

He apparently trained with Arsenal awhile back, but I can't see them signing him.

Excellent. I thought it was us as soon as I read it, cheap as chips again if true. All seems a bit quick, it must have been going on for a while? A quick search on Twatter and this came up; Zach Woosley @gingefc I wonder if Stoke City will help Brek Shea import his miniature donkey to England. I’m guessing there will be a ton of paperwork.;D ;D

If he has pace then you can count Pulis out.

"pending on 2 days of physical testing"
It would be Stoke-like if that was the deal-breaker - especially as he's been out for 3 months with a foot injury!

I guess so but usually dealing with the MLS is a ballache even for clubs that aren't Stoke. ;D We kept this fucker quiet!

Yeah - wonder if it's all tied up? You have to deal with MLS not the club, don't you? With G-Cam, Houston were actively campaigning for the move, but MLS were the ballache! Twellman says Stoke and Dallas have come to terms?

YES FUCKING SHEA
Love him
For his career though he's spent 80% on the wing and recently as a forward for Dallas
Never played LB in his life ;D ;D
Can cover both wingers, and play upfront, but we want him LB, what?!

I thought the MLS owned the rights to the players and You have to negotiate with them, that's what happened with Cameron. So maybe he just means the MLS, I don't know? It sounds pretty definite bar the physical test bit. Which will probably go wrong and then he'll sign for West Ham and be brilliant.
