Is there a specific date or game for our historic anniversary this year?

Probably not, because I don't think anybody knows when we were actually founded.

Likely pre-season.
I wonder if we will play Real Madrid again.

A day should be agreed.

Don't think we're having one from what I've heard.

As things are going the club are making a fairly half hearted effort at all this. I'm giving them the benefit and assuming they are keeping their powder dry for next season.
Its a magnificent moment - there are not many professional sporting organisations that date back for 150 years and you can be darned sure that when certain other football clubs achieve this milestone the whole world will know about it.

If they are keeping it back for next for year, why have we gone with the 150 years thing this season? Wouldn't it best to designate a season for it and stick to that season?
If we don't have a 150th year game against someone big or sentimental then Scholes needs fucking off.

Little evidence of a specific date it seems - I agree that we should nominate one to celebrate the 150 years

Dunno what you're all grumbling about, anyone would think an Adidas template shirt and a special pie weren't enough.

I am one of the council members, you can actually read the minutes of the meetings on the club website. The club is planning an event to mark the 150 anniversary and will be making an announcement in due course. Several council members are part of a working party regarding the event . Hope that this helps

Can you find out why the stewards do nothing and the club let this major health and safety issue carry on?

That is the main reason for getting my season ticket there.
