Hey up Alsager
im a block 4 man. Been there ever since the first game
I go with me dad.
Its Ok but on balance I think the lower is better. Probably a bit less cold, more room in the concourse, no steps and closer to the pitch so that when the wanker of the day gets called wanker......he has a chance of hearing it ;D
Not a beer guzzler up there. More of a coffee or bovril man with a meat and tater to wash it down.
Anyway have some karma. Rude not to exalt a fellow upper.

Nlock 4 I shall be up there later today. It may not be the best atmosphere but you don't see any mither up there (apart from the other week on the late kick off) and theres no trouble getting served etc. The woman on the right hand side bar even saves our ale for us at half time as she knows what time we are coming down for it (5 minutes before half time). I love it up there and generally harass the bloke from shire betting on his latest odds ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif)

john smiths upper is certainly my favourite stand, as ive been at uni for the last 3 years i havent had a season ticket, so ive sat in various places around the ground, and john smiths block 8 has certainly been my favourite. the view is superb, i think its fairly warm, you get the atmosphere from the boothen, no nob heads sitting around you, easy to get a pint at half time. no queueing for a piss when you are desperate, its great.
block 8 season ticket holders next year!

Sat up there a couple of times for the last half hour when I decided to work on the concourse than use my season ticket in the binary season. Missed about the first ten minutes and last 5 minutes of the first half and the first 15 of the second. Didn't miss much. Did it for about the last 8 games and think I missed 4 goals, two scored and two conceded.
when we played West Ham that year I sat down and looked round to see John Halls and missus to my right and Rio Ferdinand and mate sat behind. shook JH hand and took a pic of Rio becuase I knew noone would believe me
