Stand, but as discussed on a previous thread, if it's seating and you are required to sit, do so.

I was always in favor of standing and always thought we should have the right to do so as in we get told drinking and smoking is bad for you and is responsible for thousands of deaths world wide every year, so i should at least be afforded the choice!!!!!
That said now into my 40's and been sitting for a long time now i quite like it and think standing would be a tad uncomfy although i'd like a game to see what it would be like these days.
Went to the Kidsgrove Athletic v Leek Town the other week and even they had plenty of seats.

I would buy a ST if I could stand.

I would stand if I had the choice, and I welcome the safe standing initiative that clubs are signing up to. However, the Hillsborough families are dead set against this. I think they're wrong, but they probably have a lot of influence on this matter.

Both! If the Britannia introduced some standing areas, I'd probably stick with my seat - given that I am not getting any younger. But it is important that people have the choice. I'd also like to be allowed to use a tazer on the inconsiderate morons who stand in the aisle next to me for the last ten minutes! In away games, I'd like to have the chance to sit or stand depending upon how I felt. I like the atmosphere of an away crowd and it is helped by standing. Like most away fans I usually stand but I'd rather do it in a specially designed area than stand in a seated area where I know some of my fellow Stokies will find their view obscured. The ideal away area would have maybe 2,000 standing spaces and 1,000 seats in a 3,000 allocation.

However, the Hillsborough families are dead set against this. I think they're wrong, but they probably have a lot of influence on this matter. They are wrong for sure. I mean, don't take me the wrong way here because it's completely understandable how they feel, but it's all emotion driven without having the ability to take a step back and look at the situation logically. From a logical point of view it's crucial to realise that terracing didn't kill Liverpool supporters. A myriad of bad decisions made by people did. It's the equivalent of banning boats because the Titanic sunk. Even from an emotional point of view, bringing in well designed and regulated standing areas would be a tribute to those that died, and most certainly not a desecration to their memories!

I think they're wrong, but they probably have a lot of influence on this matter. It didn't stop their fans from standing for 90 mins on boxing day and I suspect most other away games??? As for the op. I have a ST on the back row so that I can stand and when I get away tickets I get them as close to the back as possible so that I can stand. So it's a stand from me. ;D

Although the seats are great and much safer for older fans and kids.

They should also check out what their own supporters do at away games - the Liverpool fans stood for the entire game at the Brit on Boxing Day. BTW - I would also prefer to stand! And on a proper terrace!

I bet alot would love to be able to stand, i know i would. Some of us have no choice but to sit so we can do without some fucker in front standing up all match. Used to go away matches but only saw half the game at most (blessing in disguise most of the time) because of standing. Would be an idea to have part of the ground just standing for those that want to stand, but we can't all be pleased can we.

Sit. Have done all my life. Even at the Victoria ground i used to sit. Hate standing at a match. Never understood why people want to stand. What is it acheiving other than achy legs?
