I have it on good authority that the pin up boy of the 1980s snooker scene, Tony Knowles, is right on board and even had a cheeky flutter on us at 16s earlier in the season! One hundred and eighty!

Mr. Eustace P. Peevly, the zoo keeper from Wonderland Zoo containing the Hair Bear Bunch is on board too.
Even one of the bears has grown a George Berry style afro in tribute.

Anyone remember Tony Knowles on 'Superstars' ? ;D I remember Kevin Keegan on Superstars. "I'd luv it , I'd luv it if I could stay on me bike" He went on to record a cover of "Head Over Heels"

Following an occasionally heated debate between Grange Hill pupils, Gripper Stebson has bet Roland's dinner money on Stoke finishing in the top two.

I've heard that Tinky Winky was backing Stoke but the others weren't. He whacked them with his handbag and now Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are backing us now.
There's no negotiating with Noo-noo. Electrical appliances don't care.

Peter Falk would give his good eye to see Stoke reach the promised land. "Just one more thing, Mr Lawrence sir...my wife's a big fan of yours and I was just wondering if you could give her a good roasting? I don't like to ask, but I just know I'll never hear the end of it when she finds out I've been at your home. Now if only we could find that tape..."

Met a guy on the service station on the M1. He was a HGV driver with a Scottish accent. Nice fella, the kind that just chats away about anything and everything. He started to talk about the snow they had up his way last night. Not sure what he had on his wagon but he was smartly dressed. He had relatives that live Sandbach way, think he said his brother. When I left the service station I noticed a cab unit with a Scotland flag draped across the back of his cab and a Celtic scarf in the front window , I assume it was his. Anyway earlier when I mentioned I supported Stoke he just came straight out with it. 'I think Stoke will play in the premiership next season'.

I thought 180 was darts not snooker Usually it is. But remember hearing Neil Ruddock telling stories about how dopey Jason McAteer is on Soccer AM once. Ruddock was saying how his idol was Jimmy White, but he had never actually met him. Then the Liverpool players were in a club one night and in walks Jimmy, but before Ruddock has chance to go over and introduce himself, McAteer has shouted at the top of his lungs... "Jimmy!!! Oi, Jimmy!!! ONE HUNDRED AND EIIIIIGHTY!!!!"... ... at the same time doing an impression of someone taking a snooker shot. ;D Never liked Ruddock, but he had some cracking stories. ;D
