For me it was The Human League - Dare. I remember playing this over and over during Christmas 1981 as a very happy teenager. It still sounds just as good today some 31 years later!!!

I remember getting Wish you Were Here by Pink Floyd. Great album, with a great cover and loads of stickers and posters and stuff.

Last year my missus bought me an album ive wanted for a while called Changes by Mike Lindup (keyboard player and vocalist from Level 42) Now some 12 months later i'd go as far saying its my favourite album of all time and most played cd in our car. Even my 2 young daughters like it!

Wife bought me this many,many moons ago when we were courting.Eternally grateful as it started an obssession with ,IMHO the finest band in the world ever.
All these years later still a fantastic album.(but not their best)
