Hopefully Barry Hearn will make it as uncomfortable as possible for them.

It all seems very corrupt to me and a clever scam by the dildo bros.

They're going to need an awful lot of inflatable masturbation aids to fill the 20,000 or so seats that will still be empty on matchdays.

I don't think the fans care the general consensus I'm getting is that they think this will take them top 4. I'll bet they pull a fast one to remove the running track too. They truly are a horrible club who swindle there ways through any dodgy way possible with the help of the Sun. They really have pulled a fast one on this.

The capacity of the OS is 80,000. The spammers average around 34,000 which is 1000 below capacity. Where will the extra 26000 come from? Also why is the tax payer having to stump up £38m to help fund ground modifications while spammers only get to pay £15m. Doesn't make sense. This has the potential of killing this club who are already £80m in debt.

I just hope the LLDC or whoever ensure that West Ham don't get it on the cheap. The potential for them is huge just ask Man City. The economics of having a state of the art publicly owned stadium for lowish rent made them an attractive buy for Sheikh Mansour. The ammers will be certain of attracting a lot more 'tourists' to their ground for matches. The corporate potential is also high with over 5000 corporate seats and all just down the road from Canary Wharf.

Ground modifications costs estimated to be between £130m-£200m of which spammers are only contributing £15m plus £9m annual rent. The rest is being funded by Newnham Council and the taxpayer. Love to see this go tits up by them getting relegated between now and 2016 when they take up tenancy.

I hope it goes tits up too (how appropriate) nothing against hammers fans its the sleaze balls that run it who are set to see their club become very attractive to the next billonaire who wants a footie club to play with.

There are too many clubs in London. Apart from the very localised hard core support, those apart from Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea, are fighting to fill their stadiums. Fulham are committed to an advertising campaign on radio and in the London Press FFS! West Ham's traditional support is working class Eastenders; they will struggle to attract the newcomers and glory hunters.

Retractable seating to go over thr track? So all the seats at the back of the stadium are going to be empty? Plus half of those in the middle tier.
It's going to look - and sound - shite.
Are they going to fill anywhere near the envisioned 60k capacity?
