If we played against Charlton and Ric happened to score past us would you still cheer? If he scored to put them ahead I would probably applaud but if we were winning like 3-0 then I think I would cheer for him

A very warm reception would be enough.

No fucking way on earth would I cheer. I would give him warm applause at the start and if he was as dignified as Thorne when he scored that hattrick against us and refused to celebrate his goal/s I would clap him off aswell.

Peter Thorne? Would that be the same Peter Thorne that couldn't wait to get down to Cardiff and escape Stoke City and who actually orchastrated his own move to our immediate league rivals at the time? Oh yes, that's right. That Peter Thorne!

Oh yes, that's right. That Peter Thorne! What a shame when Fuller tried to orchestrate his way out of Stoke no fucker wanted him in the same division. I don't know where you get your information from Dave, but Thorne's Father in law said he never wanted to leave Stoke. H

Fuller definitely didn't want to leave and didn't try to orchestrate any move out of Stoke though. I don't know where you get your information from! As for Thorney, ask your mate who now lives in America, about the circumstances around Thorne's departure. I'm surprised you don't know it already. Thorney's dad said that "HE" didn't want Thorney to leave, not that Thorne himself didn't want to leave as I remember it.

I wouldn't cheer/clap Stoke conceding a goal.

Why would you cheer anyone scoring against your own team? Regardless of who it is.
Loyalty to Stoke comes before any loyalty to players. If he played against us I'd want him to have a shit game.
In fact, for me, once a player leaves the club, I really have little to no interest in what/how they do on a weekly basis. My focus is on the here and now.
Having said that, a warm reception for Ric would be mandatory.

So when Pulis was saying ' we are doing all we can for Ric to find him a club' That was expressly against his wishes was it? Secondly if you had read the oatcake a week after Thornes hattrick you would have seen that his father in law stated that Thorney never wanted to leave Stoke. As for my mate in the US, he is about itk as DavesViews apart from anything to do with his ex neighbour Kav! What a shame you have taken a perfectly good thread and ruined it with bad feeling. H

Bad feeling?
There is no bad feeling from me. I liked Thorney and applauded his hat-trick as did so many others.
I don't blame him for wanting to get out either...he was offered 5 times the wages to join Cardiff. Who could blame him?
EDIT - How come you are quick to accuse Pulis of being a liar on so many matters yet are happy to accept that he was telling 100% gospel truth in the incident you are choosing to highlight?
Pulis would have spoke highly about Ric to any club that may have asked about him but that doesn't alter the fact that he wanted him gone and had wanted him gone since some time in December 2010.
Still, we digress!
If Ricardo Fuller plays against Stoke, I hope he scores 3 in a 4-3 defeat for the team that he returns with. I would also cheer him both before and after the game!

If we were playing against Ric's team in a league match, I would be hoping that he wouldn't play in all honesty.
As you say, I wouldn't want Ric to do any damage to our potential league position or points tally and we would have a better chance of beating his team without him being in it.

Being a Stoke fan I'd want us to twat them by at least 5 goals and keep a clean sheet, but then I'm a bit strange like that! H

I have explained what I believe happened in the Fuller situation a hundred times over so there is little point going over it again and again.
The exact same explanation/set of circumstances was given by 3 people associated with the club at various levels, so there is obviously some truth to that.
As for Thorney, I wasn't rubbishing any point you made you sensive little handbag flouncer! (to use some of your expressions)

(to use some of your expressions) Look hobnobbing with Rudge on the first at Trentham Park is hardly reliable ! I'm not being sensive or sensitive, I just saw no point in your comment other than to try and rubbish Thorney, whether you meant to or not, that is how it came across to me. H

Oh Peter Thorne, Peter Peter Peter Thorne, Oh Peter Thorne! ps...I can't stand Rudgey, Vale bastard that he is! The sooner he fucks off from Stoke City the better it will be for everyone. Add him as another in a long line who absolute rob a living from Stoke City.
