Watching the game on motd Southampton looked to have battered Newcastle. Will TP have the balls to go after Newcastle on Wednesday, our will it be 1 up top and hope to nick it one nil?
I know the same old thing of look at how many points Southampton have got compared to us, but the way they play the game is how I want us to evolve, they play good football on the deck and create chances, will we get half of the chances on Wednesday that they had today.
I hope so!!!!!

Every club puts together a run. I still think they'll struggle due to there defence.

They get players forward at pace - sprinting from the halfway line into the box to give a forward options. That's good. Defensively though !!

I never mentioned Saturday, and yes we played pretty well.
My point is that Newcastle look awful, and Southampton pulled them apart, I just hope we really go at them for the full 90 minutes as the potential is there for us to get a decent goal return.

More importantly perhaps is how Newc approach the game.
I would expect them to be much tighter and more defensive than Sunday, meaning we have to break them down.
Not our greatest strength!!
I'd happily take another tight 1-0.

Bothered how Southampton play. I want to see us play like we did vs Fulham but with more precision and finishing prowess when we're attacking. F. ps. you utter penis

Out of the relegation places and on target for a very successful first season in the Prem after back to back promotions. Never let accuracy get in the way of good soundbite though. Mind just think where they were a few years ago.

They're definitely on target. Look how far they've come!

How can you not defend them, they've been simply sublime this season! I mean I ask, what fuckwittery sees you spend 12 million pounds on Gaston Ramirez yet completely fail to buy a half decent Prem tested CB and goalkeeper. Play like the Southampton Sieve? Yes please, nothing more exciting than haemorrhaging goals!
