We needed 3 wins before tonight and we still need 3 wins after tonight.
As sure as eggs is eggs Hull will drop at least one point out of their last three games and that is all we need if we pick up 9 points.
If we don't we only deserve the play offs.

But it was starting to look like 6 or 7 points could well be enough. These 2 results were pretty unexpected, and have removed what could have been a nice safety cushion. I agree that 9 points is 90% likely to be enough (although if Hull get goal starts thanks to similarly crazy reckless tackles at Bramall Lane or Portman Road, who knows? : And 9 points is a tough ask for us in the circumstances.

i think two wins and a draw would be enough as long as we beat Brizzle, can see Hull losing at either Sheff.Utd. or Ipshit.

It pains me to say that you are wrong
Fortunately we are not in the same situation that we were at QPR last year (ie last game needing others to lose) but time is rapidly running out. Im sure that between them, West Brom and Hull will drop a few points but we are (yet again) back to checking mobiles etc during matches that we MUST win anyway. NEVER good.

If Hull get 9 points out of Sheff Utd and Ipswich Away and Palace at home they deserve automatic. Its by far the most difficult run in and West Brom are quite capable of dropping points too at QPR or Norwich. Even southampton at home isn't really a banker.
We really must beat Bristol City though

'we will be promted by the end of the colchester game beleive'
However good our fortune, that scenario is now highly unlikely Im afraid. It would require us to win against Bristol and Colchester and Hull to not win either of their next 2 games.

Apparent ease or difficulty of run ins means nothing - Sheff Wed are utter shite and look how we struggled there.
I just need convincing we can get three wins in three games when it's taken us ten games to get the last three wins.

Fuller and Lawrence are key imo, if they play well, we are more than capable of 3 wins. If they dont, we're fucked.
I reckon we'll be more solid in defence without Griffin too. Guess we'll soon see, im glad its coming to the end now anyway - these last few weeks have been like a slow death.

No excuses and no get-outs now.
Win every game or its gonna be failure.

what worries me mikey is that we could win every game and still fail
probably unlikely but still a possibility

It remains vital to get back that winning feeling, thats for certain
If it is the Play Off's then we will need to get in to some sort of stride before they start. To acheive 4 wins on the bounce after only one win in 8 will be quite remarkable anyway.
We are capable - We are also capable of fucking it right up too !!

WBA and/or Hull will drop points in one game before the end of the season. We must be in a position to capitalise on that, and we can only do it with three wins.
Its auto's or nothing I feel, we don't have it in us to win the play-offs.
Come on Stoke!
