So Walters with a goal and a couple of assists gets the same rating as Kenwyne who despite proving that he actually can be quite mobile when he can be arsed has done fuck all? Otherwise fair ratings.

Shawcross, Huth, Wilson + N'Zonzi are the only 4 worth rating.
The rest have been average or poor.

Walters 1 in my opinion. Never a Premiership footballer; only Pulis thinks so.

8's for Ryan and Bego so far and 6 for all the rest as they can all do better. Apart from the 11 that I will obviously be awarding to Walters. (Oh go on then, 6 the same as the rest)

Begovic - 8 - I can't think of a keeper that has performed better in the league so far Wilko - 6.5 - Generally solid but struggled at Wigan and Norwich Huth - 7.5 Shawcross - 8.5 - My current choice for our player of the season Wilson - 7.5 Cameron - 7.5 Whelan - 7 Whitehead - 6 - I'm a big fan of Deano's but I think he's looked off the pace at times this season. Seven bookings in 5 starts highlights that. Adam - 7 N'Zonzi - 8 Walters - 7 - People are quick to forget how well he started the season. He was one of most consistent performers throughout August and September. Kightly - 7 Etherington - 7 Crouch - 7.5 Jones - 6.5

Shawcross, Huth, Wilson + N'Zonzi are the only 4 worth rating. The rest have been average or poor. Add Begovic to that, and an honourable mention to Crouch for doing his best in splendid isolation up front and to Cameron for settling in pretty well to English football, and I'm with you there.

Kightly better than Walters so far? Ok, have you seen the games? Yes. All of them in one form or another. Kightly is not the greatest but he's had an actual real influential impact in four games so far, SJW hasn't.

He's actually been ace. Completely isolated but he's been a dream for someone to play off if there was anyone there.

Begos been outstanding so far saved us a few points and cost us none. Of the new signings I've been impressed by NZonzi and Cameron in particular. Adams shown enough for us to see he's a class act and Kightly still has a lot to prove.

It's not a case of Crouch being isolated, he just doesn't fit the system Pulis has got him playing. Totally wrong sort of striker to have leading the line, not his fault granted. He's a 6 at most on his performances this season.

Whelan has been pretty average in the games, but we just don't perform when we're without him. So for that, I'd give him a 7. Others pretty fair, Ryan, Begovic and N'Zonzi all on 8. The rest 6 and 7's.
