Most underrated manager in Premier League history.
His newly promoted club are currently sitting 6th in the league as I type. Does it wherever he goes if he is given more than 5 minutes there. If Liverpool or Arsenal had him as manager from the Summer they would challenging for the title this season.

very true, he is extreamly good at getting his team organised and getting results no matter how they come, unlike arsenal who will pass, pass, pass no matter if its working or not, brendon rodgers will have the same problem at lpool with his tactics.
allerdyce is a old fasioned english manager, the only thing is, fans would prefere to watch more exciting styles of football.
I for one would be delighted if allerdyce was to take over from pulis whenerver pulis leaves. allerdyce could take us to the next level.
(p.s im not shouting for pulis's head, i just think that allerdyce would be the correct replacement if he were to leave for pasteres new)

I don't know what's worse, the fact people think he would leave West Ham to come here, given their start to the season, or the spelling in this thread.

How is he underrated? Everyone said West Ham would be safe as soon as they got promoted purely because of Allardyce.
There's not a chance he would be as successful at a bigger club because he sets his teams up not to lose hence why they didn't walk the Championship last year with a squad far better than the rest.

To be fair, I have had the best part of two bottles of red wine whilst watching the footy if your refering to my spelling. (p.s, concentrated really hard not to make a spelling error in this post. )

He is underrated because he is never considered for the bigger jobs when they come up, despite being a far better and more experienced manager than the likes of AVB and Rogers.

To be fair to big sam, he ha come out and said before that the stlye of football he served up at bolton is one of the main reasons he is seen as a direct style manager. the thing is, i'm pretty sure the bolton fans were alot happier when he was at the helm than they are now

Who is Sam Allerdyce? I believe Sam Allardyce isn't too bad a manager

West Ham up to sixth, West Brom fifth.
That's two of the relegation places sorted then.

Fair play to him on paper I think we look stronger just proves what can be done when you play to a teams strengths. On a positive note Jarvis went off in the first half.

Superb manager.
It also looks like Newcastle's excellent season last time round is going to be a one off.

Best proper manager we've had since?? Pleased with where he’s got us and today was another defiant, ground out result - which is better than our losing with (lessening) style past.
His Bolton team were at worst respected and actually developed into a decent footballing side once his core standards became default. So I’m hoping over time he get’s to develop us into something a bit less functional than we were today.

Don't get me wrong because I've got a lot of respect of big Sam, but he has also been given a lot of money to improve the team. Being a London club also makes it easier to bring players in.

Let's not comment on mangers getting improvement as a result of financial backing as its s relative argument that rarely portrays us in a good light

I always remember the Geordies being annoyed with him because they shoud have been doing better. So he was sacked. The season after they got relegated! ;D

Personally, if I can understand you then it's cool - unless you are RAF, who frequently uses bigger words and often gets the spelling into a rate clusterfuck.
