Some fans in the South Stand giving Ferdinand stick by chanting "you know what you are" ? if they are referring to the Terry incident wasnt he found guilty by the FA? Also wasnt impressed with someone wearing an EDL jumper after all this hype about `kick it out` ???

If the answer to "you know what you are" is being a victim of racial abuse by a fellow professional (and I can't think of anything else they would be referring to) then the people chanting this should take a long hard look at themselves and think before they chant.

Oh dear. And people can't wear cloths now! Whatever next. exactly, unless it said something racist on it then who the fuck are any off us to say someone can ware what they want. And that's coming from someone who thinks the EDL are a right bunch of brain dead fuck tards.

We don't need people like that involved with Stoke City thank you, our club no longer tolerates fuckwitery & long may that continue!
As for the jumper, I wish all the narrow minded fuckwits would wear one, then you would no which pricks to avoid.!

There are 2 issues here
1. Yes, anyone has the right to wear such a jumper
2. The chants towards Ferdinand are a disgrace and embarrassment to themsleves and unfortunately the club, not that they are at all bothered that they drag us all down to the levels of John Terry.

It's banter ffs. Nobody shouted anything racist so what is the problem. The football world is going bloody soft and suffering a sense of humour failure.

So the chants were nothing to do with Ferdinand being the victim of racial abuse then? The best way to clear this up would be for those involved in the chanting to come onto this thread and explain exactly what they meant by it.

it's not a case of going 'soft' at all.
It's a case of a few having f*** all idea of what banter really is, or even standards. Abusing a player who has been racially abused is absolutely f***** crap folks. Anything else is conjecture.

It is what inferred by the song & yes it is a sign of the times, therefore the people who were singing it new exactly what would be inferred when using it! There are plenty of other songs to sing with no hidden meanings or connotations?

The problem is that the happy clappers will always find a hidden meaning.

What is the meaning then of the song today, hidden or not hidden?
I must be missing something here.

If by thinking this chant related to Ferdinand being a victim of racial abuse is actually a case of finding a 'hidden meaning' could someone responsible for the chanting please tell us what they actually meant by it.

I was ashamed to be a Stokie after hearing that crap. And I'm not wet behind the ears JCL. Abusing a plater for being racially abused. F***** dreadful stuff.

There are far more important things to worry about in life than a few lads having a laugh at a footie match. We will soon be strapped to our seats with gags on so the new breed can enjoy their football in silence.

Bunny, like I said I never heard the chant today after sitting in the south stand, BUT,if it was sung who knows what the people were singing about apart from the people singing it, any second guessing is pointless.
