Oh, ok Tone - so long as we're out-statting teams for hard work every week everything's just fine.
Jesus wept...

Really hope to see a change this weekend. I will go for a TP change of formation!
4-4-2
Bego Cameron, Huth, Ryan, Wilko Kightly, Nzonzi, Adam, Etherington Walters, Crouch

Very worrying that TP thinks we're playing better football then we have played the past 2 seasons. Even his arse licker Walters seems to be saying the system is far to defensive.

What I find worrying is that with the midfielders (and attacking ones at that) we purchased over the summer, we have scored 3 league goals at home all season.
Im not sure at the moment where the issue is at the moment. Is it service, the way we are setup in the middle or the strikers, or even all three
We are always going to be even more vulnerable at the back until Wilson is back fit as any manager with any sense will hit us at left back. We also seem very fragile at set pieces which is also a worry at the moment

He can't start Jon Walters again can he?! He probably will but we have been very short of goals and whilst he will always work hard, he's never a prolific goalscorer

Tony harping on about stats but stats don't provide everything you need to decide if we are doing well. Yes we are marginly improving in our passing etc but as us stokies have always said its pointless passing it round all day if you don't score.
4-4-2 and even some hoofball would be fine for me as long as we start piccking up points or we are in for one crap season!

This is what Jon had to say pre QPR Jon Walters Pre QPRDoes walters really enjoy the fact he has played 62 gMes on the trot? I don't agree with the old tired debate as working 40/50 hours a week is tired. Playing 1 sometimes 2 games a week isn't work. I like JW but 451 aint working!

In some respects I think we have been playing better this season. N'zonzi gives us a bit more composure in the middle and we are passing it a bit more. But too often the midfielders play the wrong ball. Time after time we seem to miss an easy quick pass to a player in space and end up dwelling on it and playing into trouble. And then it goes backwards and hoofed up front. And why don't we seem to use the channels any more? We used to play it long in behind the full-back, now it's nearly always up the middle. Crouch will win the header but as he has no support we lose the ball.
