A few years ago the bigger clubs of Europe were banging on about a European League. Looking at the empty seats at the Man City game you can see why they've gone quiet on that front!!

They are still after it, and if and when it comes about, I will stop watching football!

I believe, sadly, it will ultimately happen however it could be a breathe of fresh air for the smaller English football teams? Disband the 'Premier League' and create a new 1st division, one with a limit on spending. I know, it may be tough to attract star players because of this super league but atleast the league will consist of teams whose supporters are loyal and love the club and ultimately, every club has the chance to win the first division title. And maybe, some day when the money runs out and know one is interested in this 'Super League' anymore, we make those who left for this super league, start at the bottom, the very bottom ;D

Man City had 8000 unsold tickets for the Community Shield after beating us in the FA Cup. Not like they get to Wembley regularly is it? Whilst not the most exciting of games you'd have thought with their fanbase they would sell out these games although to be fair they had great support in the old 3rd division as it was.

It can't happen soon enough for me. The game has moved so far away from it's roots that it's unrecognizable. Let all the Prima-Donnas frik off to a ESL and we can get down to re-organizing the game and get back to sanity.
