Booing players like Walters etc to let him know he's shite. No way Pulis will ever drop him or else.

To be honest, Walters will start getting boos but its really not the lads fault! He doesn't pick himself, one man is to blame for this and it's pulis, and booing Walters will only dent Walters confidence more. But I do think the boos will start if he gets the nod next week

If players are shit they should be given stick, its the only way to let the manager know. Whether he does anything is about it is neither here or there.
Cheering some of the players every week is obviously not working for some of them
When you pay your money you are entitled to your opinion, as long as it is not abusive.
I have bloody people at work (non-Stokies) asking me how the hell Walters gets in the side, and one of them is a bloody Barnsley fan!!!

Don't agree with booing our players plus Pulis is so stubborn he would be the first name on the teamsheet for the next 60 games as well.

There is no way I can subscribe to booing our own players ever. It's counterproductive for a start, disrespectful and would surely make Pulis dig his heels in further. Shite idea

I would never boo the team or an individual, but some might. Walters will kop some stick if things carry on. There will be only one man to blame - the manager. He has previous in this department.

I support Stoke City.
I will never boo a Stoke City player whilst they are playing football for my club.

Like RAF says, could never boo one any of our players, no matter how bad they were. Its not their fault.
On the other hand I cant see it being too long before the capped clueless one starts getting the treatment.
Been going to Stoke long enough now to have a good idea of what to expect, if it doesnt improve.

Lets also sing pro-opposition songs and cheer when they score against us. If a Stoke player scores, we can give him the wanker sign, or all tut and frown.

Never, I hope! It's the main thing that makes me proud of our supporters. As fans like those at Sunderland are guaranteed to boo their team off, while refusing (yet) to notice that MON isn't actually the God they thought him to be, I marvel that we've had the largest part of 30 seasons when we have somehow refrained. And that, despite having some testing managers.
That's not akin to giving in, as we show our feelings in a different way, as was noticable at the last home match. The atmosphere was awful, with little passion, singing or chants of encouragement. TP may eventually notice that and even do something about it. Much better that way, as quite a number of our players are out of position or getting little time on the pitch and then expected to function immediately (e.g.Kenwyne yesterday) when probably as frustrated as all of us.
Unfortunately most football supporters tend to respond to good play, rather than actually trying to encourage it and I'm one of the guilty ones.

We should NEVER boo our players.
Some of them might not be all that good, but the current crop all give 100%. What good will booing them do? It'll drain them of confidence and make them even shitter. Don't think for a second that Pulis will therefore drop them, because he'll just dig his heels in even further.
The current frustration has to be aimed at one man alone. Things might start turning ugly if we lose to QPR.

I understand the reluctance of fans to boo their own players and for the most part would agree.
I did however make an a perfectly justifiable exception for Keith Scott and Paul Stewart.

We should not boo the team, I think it would be counterproductive. I like the idea of "attack, attack, attack". It'll be just like the days of Boskamp - everyone forward and 3-0 down within 10 minutes - only joking.

I'm afraid that chant reminds me of the Holocaust season, where the few of us who were left at games used it sarcastically I'd forgotten about that. The only thing that kept me going during that season was the gallows humour of the Stoke fans. If you think of our wins to games ratio we're beginning to enter into Holocaust Season territory.
