Ricardo fuller's hot and cold performances are enough to make anyone lose hair!
For me its clear that TP is the best stoke manager. Yes waddo was good but i believe its much harder in todays climate with billionaire owners i.e. man city.

I think Pulis is probably the best ever, simply on the basis we are an established premier league side. He's laid the foundations which is vital for any club. I like to think we've pushed on too but the next 10 games or so will indicate if we are genuinely changing our style and the way we set up.

It also becomes a fact that how far can stoke city go. We all want progress but is mid table and cup runs about our level or in 10 years would europe be a regular target. I guess allot depends on peter coates being the owner. Its vital when he goes we get a good owner, vital!

I would be happy with mid table for next couple of years. The most important thing is being in the league and we will evolve over time. Coates has said the club needs to be self sufficient so will be interesting to see what this does to the transfer kitty and moreover the prices of match day and season tickets.
Would people be happy to fund transfer windows by ticket price increases?

TV money is the killer for us, with that increasing from this season survival at all costs will become even more vital in the eyes of everyone.

And rightly so. . . if we can stay in this league over the next 3-5 years, we will be light years ahead of most championship teams in terms of money.
This new money is likely to make the jump from Championship to Premier League a MASSIVE hurdle that most will not be able to make.
The new money will certainly mean that the Premier League will become the most competitive league in the world - from top to bottom.
What a fantastic time to be Stoke City fan!

I was talking with someone the other day wondering if teams will be getting themselves into potential financial difficulties in The Championship trying to throw the kitchen sink at promotion with the lure of reclaiming it back with tv revenue increase. I can only see the gaps between the leagues widening further

And if people don't think we did gamble then having Cresser on 19k a week for a club like us, hell like anyone in the Championship is madness. But it worked and thank heaven for that! Curleywurley- It is but I hate the new deal, I can't be happy that the gap will be bigger, the Premier League is the place to be but what a fucking horrible entity it is. But I wouldn't want us anywhere else, fucking thing!

Can you see a time in the not too distant future if this is the case where the majority of the starting England XI come from The Championship? More money means popularity for the league and a lure for all foreign players even moreso than now

I think most people believe that The Prem is turning into the ruination of English football in the long run and creating footballers with bigger egos than wallets, yet we all agree that this is the best thing thats happened to the club and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else

Also, I guess the England team will suffer even more.

I'm very sorry to say that I think England will not win another major tournament for many years to come and that is because of the poor investment there has been in grass roots football and also the lack of first team experience at the highest level of a large number of English players
You can only see the model the Germans adopt paying dividends for the future. They are backing young fresh talent whilst ironically the popularity of our league is slowly destroying our national side
And if anyone disagree's then 6 spine chilling words
"Emile Heskey In An England Shirt"

According to wiki he signed for Panserraikos in 2009 and has played 47 games scoring 23. Has he finished now or went missing and no-one has found him for the last 3 years

Could have been a top level striker.
