Looking to join a gym in the near future.
Would prefer one with a pool if possible.
So which gyms in the area have pools? Anyone recommendations?
I know DW has a pool. What's it like? Same with Greens. Anyone a member?

Try the gym at the quality hotel in Hanley mate, aint been for a few months because of my personal circumstances, but it was ace. Free parking small but tidy gym nice pool/jaccuzzi/sauna. Dont cost the earth either.

ive been using longton park over the summer, its actually got some really good outdoor vandal proof "fitness stations" that incluces leg, chest and shoulder press and some other stuff and its got two lovely pools to choose from. anyway now winters coming i shall resume training again at Give Me Strength in the Meir which is by far the best gym in stoke on trent and would urge you to do the same. fuck the swimming, its too cold.

DW is fine but depends what time of day you attend,i go during the day in the week and Sat/Sun mornings and its quiet, only problem Tue/Thu about 11:00 am till 13:00 they have aquarobics for fat old ladies but one of the teachers aint bad so i sit in jacuzzi watchin her. The gym itself is quiet during the day and theres some nice sorts to look at,i have heard it gets busy at night.

I use it newcastle gym (jubilee 2)
Its £26.50 a month including swimming pool. It does get busy during the week between 5 and 7pm but nothing crazy. The free weights section is small but has everything you need and this keeps the meat heads away. The cardio is brilliant, up to date, with tv screens, I pod stations and personal keys to record your workout.
They also do some classes, spinning etc. They have a sauna and steam room aswell. I can't go during the day but I'm told its fairly quiet.
