Norwich wanted him in August but Jerome said he wanted to stay.

If it happens good luck to him, shame we will lose the only bit of pace in the entire squad. No matter what people think of him he gave a good account of himself during the few outings he was given.

Hopefully his place in the squad will be taken up by someone with his pace but with a better eye for a goal - probably won't be cheap though.

Jerome is mix and match. I do think that his pace is needed with us definitely but his touch on the ball really lets him down. I thought we would have seen more of the guy than what we have in the league games. If he wants to get regular first team though then if Pulis isn't going to give him a chance, then i wouldn't want to stay either.

I just don't understand buying all these players and not playing them. Could of gone for better players (if they'd sign for us) with all that wasted money.

Pulis tried to sign him for 2 years before he actually signed yet he can't even get on the bench.
Nice bit of scouting Tone.

Hmm, as stated above, he'll probably go there on loan and if (when) they get relegated he'll either come back or they'll give us a pittance for him. He will need replacing but I won't hold my breath!

Have we loaned anyone to a rival Premier League club yet? Can't even think of many transfers even, Olofinjana to Hull?

It's quite sad. He just never turned out to be what any of us thought we were getting and despite his pace, there's just no real place for him in our team. I would like to see him given a try on the right wing ahead of Walters before he goes, though.

H ;D Hes only a utility player because Kim Jung Pulis cant see or doesnt want to see that pace frightens the bejsus out of defenders. Jerome has this. Jerome as the front striker with Crouch palying just behind is the way to go to provide the flick ons. PLUS we would have two big lads up front ...... double trouble for defenders. Owen to come on with 20-25 mins in place of Jerome if it aint working. What does Walters offer? Oh yeah he can twat a penalty dead árd!!! Thats it ;D

Whenever hes played hes given us pace and movement up front it's hard to argue against what you've said. Walters has started every game for the last 2 years and penalties aside has scored only a handful of goals, nothing short of a shocking return. Jerome has started how many? 10 games maybe? His goals aside he's one of the quickest players in the league. Why did Pulis spend 4 million on a guy just to leave him on the bench ?

It's pretty clear it's held us back in the past couple of seasons going forward. Jerome looked great against Wigan, set up the goal and got into a number of goalscoring positions that most our players rarely do!

I actually dont want him to go. He's a pacy forward, something we are crying out for but it's clear Pulis doesnt rate him as highly as Walters.
He's bagged some goals too, something a striker is meant to do.....

I remember there being a couple of occasions when Tone even preferred starting Sidibe and Kitson together as apposed to Tunny which is bordering on insane. People can say Tuncay wasn't actually that good what had he done at Bolton etc but the fact remains he put in the best individual performance of the decade at home to Fulham and away at Villa in the same season he put in a quite brilliant performance. I really believe he could have been a Stoke legend. Wasn't to be though I just hope the same doesn't happen with Charlie Adam. Pulis needs to persist with him, all he needs is a goal.
