Sounds like the new preferred bidder is businessman Paul Wildes, he was previously linked with a take over of Carlisle that never materialised. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-16741524Looks like he has nothing better to do with his cash

Not good news I fear. Failed to take over Carlisle and Darlington? From what I read on the Darlington forum quite a few were saying they "dodged a bullet there". Give Peter Miller a chance with his dodgy record, give Keith Ryder a chance with no record to speak of, now give this guy a chance with less of a reputation than Knight Ryder had?

Hopefully he'll mess them round like the other potential buyers have.... failing that run them into the ground.
I'm simply thinking about the next generation of Vale fans and saving them for years of pain and pitiful shit because i'm all heart.

Wow, that Director Check certainly makes interesting reading doesn't it.
No less than 119 director or secretaryships.
The guy is a venture capitalist who's sole aim is to boost the value of a company before selling it on at a profit.
Interesting to note the number of in administration or dissolved ventures, in other words companies that he couldn't turn around and have had to be liquidated.
With this multitude of other ventures, it just begs the question how much time he will have to available to turn the Vale into a profitable, going concern
Not a situation that I'd like to see Stoke City in.

What interests me is that when Ryder pulled out they didnt get deducted 10 points through admin as they had other offers on the table?
1.... Was his one of the offers and in which case why didnt he come to the fore straight away ?
2....If it wasnt why werent they deducted the 10 points?

From what I can tell, they will pay about fuck all of it back, that can't be right. Why haven't the council taken on Vale Park as that was the collateral?

Bearpit Brittania on facebook has posted that the Bamford (JCB) family are poised to invest..anyone know of this? ??? Read all of the comments, he's come out looking a bit of a tit considering somebody(some obscure bloke) has already been openly accepted. He always comes out looking a bit of a tit. There are some simple Vale fans fishing there, and some simple Stoke fans biting.

There has to be some Clever in the Know Stoke fans with the ability and resources required to do a bit of digging on this one, the information must be out there to either quell or fan the flames of conspiracy currently being hinted at here with regards the PVFC company being founded in January, any links with the previous preferred bidder who pumped his own money in and then walked away leaving the club in a more vulnerable position plus as Werrington points out the 10 point deduction thing..........
Vale fans have pointed a suspicious finger at SCFC for long enough bleating on about Council favoritism and investment in our club, yet there hangs a cloud of shit over the club they starved into administration that just gets thicker and thicker as the days go by with unpaid council loans and niggling conspiracy theories.

Oh dear they don't look dodgy at all do they? I mean they'll go up in April anyway, shouldn't be in that division at all, but come back Mo... I seriously think they'd have been better off with the devil they know...
