Don't think it works like that mate. I have heard the betting bloke on there slag Stoke off, and he works for Bet365. My daughter works there and very few of the people higher up are from Stoke, mostly recruited from other betting firms, so from Leeds and Liverpool etc and most of them don't support Stoke. Bet 365 make them live within 30 miles of Stoke, so don't know how TP gets away with it.

who gives a fuck about talk sport? i think its a pisser how people get upset by a few words about dirty one dimensional stoke.
and why would sir coates give a fuck about it either? bet 365 will be making a fortune traffic from the talksport site.
i actually find it mildly amusing that the same people who hate stoke and say we shouldnt be allowed in the premier league playing the football we do use bet 365 to make there bets and bank roll us.

I think a lot of people on this board don't understand how Talksport (like much of the media) works. People like Adrian Durham are paid to be controversial. The theory is that the more controversial they are, the more listeners they generate. The more listeners they generate, the more appealing they are to advertisers. Bet365 will be quite happy for Durham or any other presenter to slag Stoke off if it keeps the listening figures up.
Same with, for example, the Sun or the Sunday Sport. I doubt if Denise Coates reads either paper on a regular basis ;D - butshe knows a lot of Bet 365's potential customers do, so she advertises there.

He has a house less than half hour from Stoke so no problem at all and no preference .

In effect TP does live within 30 miles of Stoke. He has his house in Cheshire which he uses as his base when he is working at Stoke. When he takes time off from Stoke he goes to the home he shares with his wife in Sandbanks. Why would Bet365 object to this. It means that TP is not subject to family distractions when he is working at Stoke and can give 24 hours a day to the job if needed. When he has down time he spends it in a fabulous part of the world with his wife. What's not to like about that arrangement if you are his employer?
Given what happened the day TP's mum died, the last thing Coates or any fan should accuse him of, is not giving Stoke his full attention when needed.
EDIT: I see, for once, I agree with BB!

I wish people would stop thinking Peter has any say in how bet365 is ran. He doesn't, Christ the major share holder of bet365 wants nothing to do with funding Stoke and that's Denise his daughter.
Oh and people get so worked up over football.

These web page adds customise to you personally these days, I believe some special software that they use on the servers knows what you've browsed before and customises the adds for you, someone else looking at the same page could be seeing different adds than you are.

I listen to Durham from time to time, despite him regularly spouting nonsense about us. I don't like him but like to hear folk up and down the land rise to his bait. I usually change the dial mind, when the thick Yorkshire chap opens his gob, as he talks just plain silly. Durham is anti- arsenal, anti-anything that moves (including his own beloved Posh it would seem at the moment), and I wouldn't have it any other way. I only want intelligent people to speak highly of Stoke City and curiously enough, all of them seem to do so!

He gets paid to provoke reactions from emotional fans up and down the country.
I personally think he does a good job, especially when you see the coverage he gets on here alone. 6-7 years ago Stoke City never got a mention (good or bad) nationally, so it can only be a good thing that we are being talked about.
Man Utd don't mind the fact that they are more or less universally loathed by every fan other than their own. They thrive off it.
We should change our mindset when it comes to all the bullshit that gets spouted about us, and enjoy the fact that we annoy so many journo's and Ex-pro's.
