KnotFM brings you TP talking about refs, the hand ball incident that upset Liverpool. Stoke's take on diving and how our players handle tackles and dives. Ryan's selection and the banter with his team mates. The disappointment for Crouch. (Last season Etherington) More belief that we need away from home and our fans protecting the team. Oh yes and his autobiography (as requested last week) ww.knotfm.co.uk

Excellent - I thought TP sounded more relaxed than he sometimes is. And cheers for asking about the autobiography. He was a bit evasive but it does sound as if he might write one - eventually. At least he didn't rule it out.

Pleasure. I understand his face spoke volumes when the question was asked ;D
Interesting how he sees the fans part in games at home and how he thinks it's a question of belief now away from home

We dont need much to light the spark but he hasn't given us anything on way too many occasions. It has all too often been about not getting beat rather than going for it. I came out of Stamford Bridge a couple of weeks back feeling really positive, we had a right go and were really unlucky. I was looking forward to Swansea. At last there was the prospect of us playing a home game and dominating from start to finish and putting an opponent to the sword. But his one up front tactic ensured that we just had a repeat performance of last seasons dour encounter. Despite all the hope that we were evolving to a far more excting style nothing had changed afterall. BM

Boring for the most part. I'll be interested as to what happens on Sunday.

Lakeland,he seems more relaxed but how will we as supporters feel if the team shows more belief and loses by 4 or 5 which Liverpool are capable of? I'd prefer a cautious 0 0 or 1 1 myself.

I wouldn't I am sick to the stomach of this scared of our shadow negative tripe. If we played to win hey you know what we might actually win, we certainly have the quality to go to Anfield and win if we are on top of our game. If we lose and we have had a damn good go, like at Chelsea then that's too bad, but it won't be the end of the world and will be greatly appreciated by the travelling support. Fortune favours the brave! BM

I'm with Mick.
Let's just have a go. I heard a similar interview on Radio Stoke with TP saying that the players need to have more belief away from home.
Ultimately it is he himself that needs more belief, both in himself and his team.
Let them play and let them play to win. As Mick says, we might just do so. We are certainly good enough to do so! Sadly, it has often seemed that the supporters have more faith in our players than TP himself does.

I dont think it's that particularly Dave. I think TP, if he could see a chance at a point away from home will try for that rather than go out for the win.

I hope I don't regret this but I really feel that Liverpool are there for the taking. With a bit of belief we really could come away with something.

Interestingly both the most recent interview on Sky and on the SCFC website discuss the posible ex Liverpool players who may be in our squad / team on Sunday. On Sky, the interviewer included this point in his comments saying that the 4 players, Crouch, Adam, Owen and Pennant had amassed ??? (gave a high number) games for Liverpool between them.
Both on SCFC and in his response TP only referred to Crouch, Owen and Adam!! Just what has happened with JP?
He had a poor game at the start of this season but hasn't even made the bench revently

TP was asked this pre Swansea and his answer was that Matty and "Kites" were both in the squad and if one of them was out of it we'd be asking why!
I think TP will rotate the bench more this season. Yesterday he said that Ethers was starting to show good form again so you can bet he'll be included. JP is a good player and a great crosser of the ball so I'd like him involved more

Does anyone else feel like we could pinch a win today. I went for 2-1 liverpool but got a strange feeling that 1-0 stoke with ryan proving his england call up is no fluke by nicking the goal?!
