Your right he talks a good game. Can't wait to see him play. As was said on the show sunday, he will most likely be eased into the team, i believe at left back.
Roll on sunday at 7pm!

Can't be that good. He's only got 67-69 rating on FIFA 13.

Why does anyone think he'll be eased into the side at left back? I'm as desperate as anyone for a proper left back but Edu, like Wilson, isn't one and Wilson doesn't deserve to be dropped for a utility player who may well struggle initially.

Where does it say whelan is out?? I haven't seen anything official but he did pull his hamstring didn't he? (I've slept since then so can't 100% remember) I dont think its a tear, but maybe keep him out for a game or two

Why does anyone think he'll be eased into the side at left back? I'm as desperate as anyone for a proper left back but Edu, like Wilson, isn't one and Wilson doesn't deserve to be dropped for a utility player who may well struggle initially. I suppose Edu does have the advantage over Wilson that he is left footed but, he is really a midfielder. If Whelan's hamstring isn't sorted then TP might want to pair N'Zonzi with Cameron in central midfield. So we could either see Wilson moved to right back with Edu at left back or we could see Whitehead at right back with Wilson staying at left back - or we could see the full backs staying as they are with Whitehead replacing Whelan at cm. I rather hope Whelan is fit and we can start an unchanged 11.

Lakeland I kind of agree with you there. Whilst I've never rated Whelan he's done well last few games and there is nothing better for a footba club than starting an unchanged xi every week. The more our new signings play together the better they will become. Cameron and Kightly on the right have already struck up a great understanding. Nzonzi has shown his class and Adam has showed the potential he has going forward. In time I think Nzonzi and Adam will prove the best 2 signings in the clubs recent history.

Just a point and I never thought I'd say this which is the better talker Edu or Cameron? In any event they both sound well educated and by all accounts are really great guys and good professionals
