Barry Sheene and James Hunt also featured. Evel Knievels jump, on the overweight, under powered, Harley Davidson has to be seen to be believed. The most ridiculous choice of bike for stunting, but still had the balls to do it. I wish we still had guys like that around.

Indoor League was fantastic as well. Blokes standing around watching, supping pints of ale, whilst two local heroes had a go at skittles, arm wresting, table football etc. Didn't they used to have the odd yard of ale/down in one contest as well or has my nostalgia run riot?

I think you're right I remember the yard of ale, didn't darts feature on Tv for the first time too, I think I saw Leighton Rees and Eric Bristow in that show for the first time.
