I'm actually amazed how much better he was than the rest of the players on display. Carlton Wright-Phillips was impossibly poor up front, as was that ridiculous centre-back with the hair band.

Reminded me how awful the standard actually is in the champ. Please, never again. Fair point. Looking back now, it's amazing to think that that was the standard for us a few years ago. You wonder if we were quite as poor as that.

Just curious. probably fitness related, gods. remember, he's had no pre-season. he'll be starting in a couple of weeks time on that display no doubt. it seems charlton havnt figured out that he's most dangerous when he gets the ball to feet on the wing and he can cut in yet.

Still looks a cut above that level, even with questionable fitness and 32 years on the clock.
The right winger who came on (I think- only concentrated when Fuller was on) lokked good as well.
