on Google. I'd forgotten completely how bloody weird the Stoke End stand floodlights were. Never seen anything like them before or since.
We should have brought them with us. They should have had listed building status or something. They had antennaes and everything.
They should make floodlights compulsory again. New grounds are shite.

I like boltons and west brazils floodlights, they are kind of the same but with a modern twist. Better than ours anyway.

Nice. Ever since i have been match going age it's always been at least a 40 mile journey from wherever i've lived to stoke on trent. When i was a 10 year old kid and me and my dad made the journey up the m6 on a saturday, scarf flapping out the car window and battering the glass like a hammer in the wind, the sight of these bizarre shiners in the distance was like a thing of beauty. We have arrived, it's matchday again
