My late father in law was a driver for London bus after the war - he used to get a few ales in him on his break - he'd stop the bus when he needed to piss and pull the hood up to pretend it was broken down and relieve himself. Only a few secs it took - right character old dad in law.

No bus driver sits time off for the fun of it. If the bus is waiting its because thats what the timetable says. Timetables often allow more time than is needed at busy times to allow the bus to catch up time if its stuck in traffic. Think about it. Why would a driver deliberately do it to annoy you? The only thing he would achieve is he will be late in for his break or going home which no one wants.

Yes that's right mate , I only know because I had to watch every episode because my dad and grandad worked on the buses , so it was a constant " that would never happen " and " that's not Right " it could get tedious ;D
