Hits our streets on Wednesday will you be watching? Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish are in the race this year so should be worth quick look
There was an almighty pile up on the 1st stage yesterday which involved Cavendish
BTW ITV 4 are showing the highlights each day

Looking forward to it although since they have changed the route it won't be as interesting for me as in past years.
One minor point - As we are Stage 5 it's probably best to wait until Thursday before lining the streets.

That's a good point, although if you turn up Wednesday it could be easier to find a good spot for viewing

For the first time in years they onner coming down my road, bastards! How the fuck would you know that with the hours you spend thrashing your keyboard...EH..? If they filmed a remake of 'The Last Tango in Paris' on your front lawn you'd be busy replying to March4 or 'Mystical Descent'... I'm off to throw some darts at the wall...

yeh I caught it in stone and then went up Hanley to watch the finish. Its a good road to finish on i.e its nice and wide but that part of Hanley is such as shit hole its going to look fucking awful on the box later. Plus I was standing just next to the VIP bit and the giant screen was completely blocked from view for all of the people standing next to me and I would imagine most of the way up the street. It was very poor in my opinion.
Still great to see some pro cycling in the area.

Went to Trentham Gardens this morning, great venue for the start lovely setting on a nice sunny morning, then in the afternoon went up Biddulph Moor to watch the rides come past fantastic turn out and well supported today by Stoke On Trent.

Great turnout by the people of Staffordshire but why show Scabby Abbey and why not fine somewhere better than Hanley to finish in? Both are shitholes

I think the Hanley finish has alot to do with the council wanting a city centre finish and the organisers wanting bigger crowds. Its a shame but it was awful to finish the race in front of fucking B&M

Noticed as they entered hanley someone with a "Stoke" flag on the safety barrier
Other than that, fair play to the rider who won as he crashed only a few miles before didnt he?

Other than that, fair play to the rider who won as he crashed only a few miles before didnt he? That was at Endon just as they came down from Brown edge and swung around that sharp corner, Bradley Wiggins has dropped out of the tour overnight with they say a stomach bug, he he!
