Commodity fetishism to the detriment of human relations maybe. A fairly prominent feminist theme.
Interesting that the man doll has a cock-hole mouth suggesting it's also for use by men.

Is there an 'official' correct answer from the artist?
I'm curious to what Spider Potato has to do with things.

That rug and horse pic made me think it was maybe the loss of innocence after childhood.
Apple on the head in the next pic doesn't fit in with that especially though.

Thinking about it, William Tell shot the arrow off the head of his son, so the childhood thing could work. Also fits with the Spider-tater in the first pic.
If it's loss of innocence DURING childhood, I'd immediately assume abuse but there's not much to suggest that other than the cage.
A shot in the dark so to speak, is it about catching your parents up to no good as a child? Maybe one of them was having an affair or something.

I'll be honest, one of two things are going to happen before I guess this.
1) I'll end up having quite a guilty tug over the first pic
or;
2) I'll find the site they're from using tinyeye and find out myself.
Number two is in the lead by quite a long way at the min.

I did tineye it and came up blank anyway.
Reckon it would have taken a lot more guess work for me to have gotten to the theme that site proclaims.
The cage and the apple tie in. Suppose the gay doll thing does too. Not a great deal in the pics to allude to "religious, historical and cultural ideologies" though. Maybe just the innocence in the kids toys and the decor that reminded me of my nan's house in the '80s!

What an absolute bag of wank, it looks like some kids college art project when they've tried to be different or clever and ultimately achieving neither.
