.....by turning the welsh down. They are utter shite, and rely on monkey boy all the time. TNS could do better, and get a better crowd. Ryan you have gone up in my estimation lad

One game played and this campaign is already looking bleak for them.

I think if it hadn't been for the Ramsey shit....Ryan would have played. Can't fault Coleman for asking when you see James Collins play. He's been as dodgy as for a while. I think Ryan has done the right thing now though, unless Ramsey fucks off.
Williams and Shawcross would have made a good pairing I think.

I honestly don't think Ryan would have played for them if Speed was still in charge and there was no problem with the blarting little dwarf. I think he just see's himself as English and thinks he will get his chance. Fair play to the lad.

Behind the likes of Cahill, Terry, Lescott, Jagelkia (sp) Ryan is really the only other center half with any real week in week out Premier league experience surely its only a matter of time before he becomes a regular in the England set up

Shawcross isn't gonna be playing for England.

He's totally useless and managed to undo the great work done by the late Gary Speed, how he finds work in football I'll never know.

Nice guy, thick as fuck.

Phil Jones will end up playing in midfield, Michah Richards should play right back and Chris Smalling is busy getting splinters and quite frankly not fit to lace Shawcross' boots. Shawcross for me is the natural replacement for Terry your no nonsense body on the line centre half

Only 26 premier league appearances to date I'll reserve judgement until I've seen him probably I've only seen the very few bits of Swansea on motd. The simple fact is when England reach the knockout stages of major competitions we are no where near good enough to really dominate tor Brazil's, Germany's, Italy's, that means for large part of the games your backs against the wall and in those situations Shawcross is imo the best defender in the country

Disagree... as long as there's no serious injury to the legit first pick England CBs and for as long as his distribution's not the best, he'll be a fringe England player at best, right now for all his qualities Ryan looks like a throwback at international level. I honestly don't think that's down to Stoke or TP, simply the kind of player he is - he's massively committed and effective, I wouldn't swap him for anyone but he doesn't (yet) have a superb football brain.
